We have used Medplex multiple times. Other than long wait times we have been pleased. This time however we changed insurances and our out of pocket cost was over two thousand dollars. Once taken back for the procedure the doctor mentioned it would be cheaper to pay the cash price. I spoke to the lady over the insurance and she would not budge at all. Probably not going back.

I had a synoplasty and turbinate reduction performed by Dr. Owens, he solved my problem and I finally can breathe after 20+ years. the hospital was pretty clean, friendly and professional stuff, everything was quick and on time, no waiting for hours like in big hospitals in downtown. I want to thank all stuff what was working that day, anesthesiology department who were very careful with my jaw(since in other hospital they actually hurt it and I have had so much pain from my TMJ since that…). Surgery went well, recovery also. Stuff was calling and checking on me, it was very nice! Over all I recommend this place!

Associates have been super friendly the two surgeries and lab work that my Mom has had here. Waiting room and restrooms have always been clean when we've been there.

I would not go back. I had shoulder surgery in April, arrived at 8:00 a.m. but did not get taken back until around 1:00 pm to start the initial preparations. From the very full waiting room and hearing other people go up and ask what was taking so long, it was clear that what I was having done and the doctor doing it wasn't the only one. I was finally taken into surgery at 4:00 p.m. and did not leave till around 7:00 p.m. The positive part was the staff were all very nice and the CRNA, Philip I believe, was wonderful. The anesthesiologist, however, was very rude. Because of them overbooking and how long the wait takes and because of the anesthesiologist I would not use them again nor recommend anyone else to use them. As opposed to Shelby outpatient, when I've had surgery there, I am usually taken back in less than 15 minutes after I arrive and the surgery usually starts 2 hours or less after that. The staff and the care there is wonderful, I would highly recommend Shelby.

First thing I said to my husband after coming out of anesthesia was that they were so nice. Everyone was very caring and personable. I felt very seriously cared for and would go back every time. Great doctors, nurses, and front desk staff. They were all on a mission to get things done efficiently, timely, and perfectly. Highly recommend!
