My 5 year old had her tonsils and adenoids removed and tubes placed in her ears. Dr.Clark was amazing from the office visit to the surgery department. He was so knowledgeable and took his time without making us feel rushed. I have to brag on RN Jenifer, she was absolutely PHENOMENAL, kind, loving and caring! She was the best nurse I think I have ever dealt with!

I had such a pleasant experience here. From check in, to all the nurses, everyone was kind and compassionate during one of the worst days of my life. I don’t think I can ever thank them enough for the wonderful care provided.

I was supposed to arrive at 8:00 (confirmed appointment). They told me my appointment wasn’t until 9:00, so I had to wait. The pre-op nurse was great. I was told because of pre-op procedures, the anesthesiologist would give me medicine before the procedures began and make sure I was relaxed before going thru my needle localization. He gave me Valium, which did not work. The procedure was worse than I could have imagined. I did not get into the OR until 2:50. When I got into recovery, the center was closing and my daughter and friend told me I was discharged before it was safe. The facility had closed (doors locked). I have no recollection of getting dressed (or who dressed me), leaving the facility, she said my pain had not been controlled and I was writhing in pain. I have no recollection of being wheeled out, getting into my car, arriving at home, getting into my home. The first thing I remember was waking up at home at nearly 9:00 pm. Had my daughter not have had help, she would not have been able to get me in the house. It was an absolute nightmare for my friends and family. I have had surgery (with general anesthesia) in the past - no problems recovering and remembering things shortly after my surgery. I have reported this situation to my surgeon’s office. Had I known the experience was going to be so horrible, I would have insisted on having my surgery in the main hospital, because they would have kept me longer (at least thru a shift Change). Having worked at a defense medical malpractice firm for 35 years, this clearly falls below the standard of care.

I had surgery this morning in the North Tower OP. I had the absolute best admitting nurse, Jeana. She was cheerful, professional, and basically all around great RN. I have had numerous surgeries and she was excellent. My recovery nurse was awesome as well. (Sorry, I can't remember her name). From the time I walked in til I rolled out it was one of the best outpatient surgeries I have had. Thank you!
