My mom and I had a blessed experience January 04/26 I give 10 thumbs up if it was possible to Dr. Jacobs nurse Bailey and nurse Lauren. On the evening shift, they were very courteous and I nickname nurse Bailey. one of the top vampires because she had no problem drawing blood from my mom, which is a very difficult task to do.Keep up the blessed Work staff and may God bless you. Love Donna

My husband was having acute pain and urgent care suggested he go to emergency room for possibly kidney stone .They did in fact find that he had one and gave him morphine and then dilaudid ( he was previously given pain meds an hour before at urgent care , so he was super drugged up , he takes no medication at all ) I rushed to ER and was told to go back and ring a phone and let in to see him , no one stopped me or asked for my ID ( scary) it was like 74 degrees in the ER ( gross and hot, germ spreading ) Anyway I left the room many times based on being hot and they told my husband his stone may require surgery so he had to wait. I had been giving him water because he was thirsty and ask the nurse for a cup and she said no he may have surgery and should not be drinking ( whoops ) So I came in from outside to cool off and found out they decided to not do surgery , but had to come to him in his pain and drugged out state and made him pay $450 on the spot ( we have good insurance ) , how tacky !! Also I walked up to nurse and said can he have water since he wont be getting surgery ? She said " Oh he can go we are done with him, we gave him prescriptions , " ( no screen to catch stone just meds ) So instead of wheeling him out I had to walk my drugged up husband out of ER into awaiting uber , no wheelchair offered or even concern if he had to drive himself .I feel like he received marginal uninterested care , We will never go there again . Who takes money from a moaning drugged up patient ? They had his insurance info , poor care and its really sad that he was drugs and told bye bye

My mother’s ER visit was great. She was admitted to the 1100 unit. I would say for the most part her stay was ok. She was NPO for multiple days until late in the evening for about 3 days. On the 3rd day she was told she would be having surgery so being NPO was no problem. However once she was cleared for surgery we waited on the surgeon all day. My mother was about to pass out for not having anything to eat or drink it was around 4 pm and at this point she was only eating once a day due to me being NPO each day. She was ok until we realized the chances of her having surgery that day were slim. The nurses called the doctor multiple times. He ( Dr. Lane) kept saying he was coming or he was in the building and would be around shortly. We understand he probably has multiple patients but if he knew that he wouldn’t be doing the surgery that day why couldn’t he at least give the ok to eat/drink. Which were questions the nurses were specifically asking him. One nurse even approached him in hallway and she said he dismissed her. After I could not take it any more I proceeded to eat. The doctor finally came around.😒 When he came in he repeated what he told me the day before that I needed surgery and he was waiting on me to be cleared by doctors which had been done earlier in the day. When I informed him that I had been clear since earlier in the day his response was “Oh” I was baffled that he was not up to date or had not ready the notes put in by my doctors. When I informed him of how hungry I had been all day waiting on him he proceeded to say “ well it looks like you’re eating now.” I felt like he was being sarcastic and nonchalant. My daughter was upset about this and verbally expressed to him that his lack of preparedness and dismissive tone was unwelcoming. He then left out, put in a consent form for surgery the next day which I was informed about by the nurse. This was after my daughter expressed her concerns to the nurse and advised her that she would be contacting the patient care coordinator and wanted to speak with his supervisor the next day and as well as informing Dr. Rodriguez. I’m guessing she went back and told him because about an hour later he came back and advised me of my surgery the next morning himself. I’m grateful for him completing the surgery but the manner in which he seemed to be uninformed and dismissive put a bad taste in my mouth. Other than that all the other doctors, nurses and staff were great. I also only had my room cleaned once during my six day stay. Btw Dr Rodriguez is amazing!!

The worst ER I have ever been to. Save your money and go someplace else. I came in at 6 for breathing difficulties and the nurses were rude. For one, I had been struggling to maintain consciousness and the nurses did absolutely nothing and kept me waiting in the waiting room. The other people in the waiting room had to encourage her to bring me back and were trying to help me more than the nurses. When they finally did see me they gave me a Covid and flu test then started a breathing treatment (this nurse and the CRNP were the only nice ones). I was complaining about severe throat pain, sinus pain, and the inability to stay awake. THEY NEVER CHECKED MY NOSE OR THROAT. They told me my test showed up positive and never came back to tell me the result of the X-ray they took or anything. Most unprofessional and uncaring emergency room I’ve ever been in. The only reason I came to this hospital was because I have friends (

I came into the ER yesterday in afib the Doctor and his nurse were fabulous. Moved to the 3rd floor and my Nurse Variest Hicks was simply amazing, she is kind and compassionate to the core, her CT is just as amazing "Ara Wang" They need to keep both of them at whatever cost it takes. For the night shift I had Peggy and she is incredible just as kind and compassionate and knows her job well. Nobody wants to be in the hospital but it sure helps when you have a kind hearted team.
