The medical team of doctors, nurses and assistants are excellent. They are knowledgeable, caring and communicative. However, the admin side of this business is pathetic. No one answers the phone, EVER. You cannot conveniently make an appointment. You leave a message when prompted and you do not get a call back. If you attempt to return a missed call with the parties' extension, you cannot access that with their phone system. The facility itself is dated and it feels like you are in some sort of production line. The waiting room is inadequate and barely comfortable. When I was there, the waiting room was as cold as a meat locker. I have been a patient there for more than 8 years. I'm certainly not going back to this place. There are other choices out there. I would, however, seek out my very qualified physician if he relocated to a different facility. Lions...not sheep.
From the front office staff to the schedulers including all of the technologists, nurses and all Medical staff... one worrd stands out... OUTSTANDING. This group has been in the valley for years and their level of excellence is 2nd to none. Dr. George Walker, you and your team including the Anesthesia group have treated me not only as a family member but as a person that needed care and was given it with extreme patience and care. I can not say enough about the level of care and professionalism that was given to me... Thank you everyone for the best possible care. Anthony Cerimele.
I am a Veteran and used my V.A. out of area insurance to go to East Valley Endoscopy, I'm so happy I did. They are not only very professional but the nurse who put my IV in was amazing. Normally an ultrasound is needed to find a vein but she managed to get it in quickly and just one poke. I had an amazing experience for my first ever Endoscopy. I highly recommend East Valley Endoscopy.
A+ experience and it's rare I give this grade! Don't put off a colonoscopy as it is not embarrassing and it's pain free and you are out of it! Excellent staff, very organized, clean, charge nurse came by and was also very active observing, entire staff was A+! Dr. Craig Stein was easy to talk with. Very polite, a good listener and was sure to make certain he answered all my questions. Excellent follow up with results. I wish other practices were this thorough, professional, and friendly! PS Had my procedure at 2pm. Came home and took a mini nap and made it to 6:30 Bunco!
Fantastic Experience. Honestly, even the prep wasn't that bad. They use modern preps, versus the 8 gallons of GoLYTELY. The staff was awesome, and the anesthesia was also great. Seriously, if they hadn’t told me I could wait 10 years, I'd come back sooner. Kidding aside, I honestly can say this was a great experience for something you fear to do. After this experience, I won't be as scared, knowing they do such a great job and make the experience easy and less stressful.
