Dr. Brozek greatly exceeded my expectations. The office was really busy and I had waited a long time before being seen by Dr. Brozek. But he explained the upcoming surgery thoroughly and took the time to patiently answer all my questions. I walked out relieved and relaxed.
I have been going to this clinic for years and I have 0 complaints. The staff are professional, friendly, and do their jobs pleasantly. Dr. Pierce is also great she explains everthing she is doing and the reason why. Gave me medication explains what to expect how long it should take to work, and told me what to do if their is complications or questions. I feel confident going there for my eye care!
Everything went well with the surgery and the surgeon was great. However my appoint was for 10:40 AMI I was prepped timely but didn’t get into the OR until approximately 1:30 PM. It seems unnecessary to arrive that far in advance of the procedure. Also the follow up appointment was for 8:40 AM and I wasn’t seen until 9::30 AM. Others in waiting area were complaining about waiting so long with one person waiting an hour beyond his time.
So far - feeling good about the upcoming surgery! The wait was long ~ I was there a total of 3 hours. As it was, I had to make my initial appointment 3 months out, no choice. So a lot of waiting. Dr. Brozek explained everything thoroughly with an easy approach. The staff were all friendly which helped get through the long wait times.
The ‘newer’ front desk person was very nice & professional. Her peer had an unspoken girly fast food drink and was munching on something..looked like she was working at home. The Exit assistant ignited me totally so I left. If you’re on the phone., at least make eye contact with the patient and give the finer up sign that you know I’m there waiting. I had a Medical appt. without refraction. Much to my surprise this time I was seen at SW by an optometrist. I have had to see an Opthalmologist annually since was 6 due to congenital issues. Now in my 70s I have myriad medical issues with my eyes. Why was I not given the choice? Or at least told. The MA who did testing and dilated my eyes was nice and seemed very competent. The optometrist did not look at my records or previous chart notes. So while my basic questions were answered, referrals were made, etc. I don’t feel confident I had a thorough exam specific to my history, eyes , and vision issues.
