My husband had a PD abdominal port inserted at this surgery center in 7/23. During surgery, this really stoic man told the surgeon he could still feel pain—that he needed more meds to kill the pain. He asked then begged for more and the surgeon totally ignored him and just continued the surgery not even commenting. What kind of a doctor does that????? Nor did the staff keep me apprised of status when the automated board said the supposed one hour surgery was still in progress—after 3 hours!! And the receptionist had already left for the day. I was worried sick with nobody to ask what was going on. I had to bang on the door to get anybody to tell me what was going on. I do NOT recommend this surgery center to anybody for anything at all!!!!

This place is horrible tbh it is very confusing where the surgery center even is and it def doesn't seem like one when you do find it anyways I have had 2 surgery’s here both have been botched my first a catheter placement 4 dialysis which Omgg it hurts so so badly I have had them before and I know how they shld feel but this one is just horrible they def placed it wrong or smth bcuz it is just painful and uncomfy 24/7 my second surgery was meant to be lifting the artery to the surface on my arm bcuz it’s to small for the fistula thingy they use and then they where just going to use tht for dialysis but the doctor opened my arm up completely then just decided my heart rate was to high when man’s was like 90% of the way done with the surgery he had done everything but actually lifting the artery and then he closed me up so quickly tht he did the stitching wrong and it was leaking fluid all over me for weeks until this surgery center finally bothered to get a appointment for me so someone could look at it also they don’t actually sedate you here they just give you a ton of drugs to make u loopy hoping you won’t remember this place has a serious issue with giving pain meds 2 my first surgery I was literally screaming on the table in pain and they seemed annoyed with me like I was just smth they didn’t even care abt after a few mins of tht they finally gave me smth 2 numb it locally which didn’t work well at all not like they cared ofc 🙄 also idk how but the scars they leave here literally look like someone just took a kitchen knife 2 it like it is literally horrible it doesn't even look like they used a scalpel so now I have this giant wound on my arm from this surgeon digging around tht didn’t even finish the surgery but it is going to be a horrific scar also they are now recommending me to a hospital saying I have “issues being sedated” it’s like ???? u all literally don’t even sedate ur patients at ALL they called it a “twilight sedation” but like I said all they do is give u a ton of drugs u arnt rly even sedated this place is just like a fast food equivalent for surgery they don’t care if it’s done right or wht harm they cause they just want ur money and they are a fast track from akdhc so most patients like me don’t even have a choice

THIS FACILITY IS THE WORSE EVER. IT'S THAT TYPE OF PLACE THAT WHEN YOU WALK IN YOU ASK YOURSELF IS THIS WHERE I SHOULD REALLY HAVE MY SURGERY. I WAS THERE FOR FISTULA GRAPH PLACEMENT. THEY PUT ME TO SLEEP AND I DIED TWICE DUE TO THEIR NEGLEGANCE. IT WAS HORRIBLE. I CODED TWICE AND THEY BROKE 8 OF MY RIBS RESUCITATING ME, AND NOW I'M BLIND IN MY RIGHT EYE, HAVING MAJOR ISSUES IN MY LEFT EYE I NEVER HAD BEFORE AND MY RIBS STILL HAVEN'T HEALED, AND I'M HAVING BREATHING AND OTHER ISSUES I NEVER HAD BEFORE. DON'T, DON'T DON'T GO HERE IT'S A NIGHTMARE OF A PRACTICE AND THEY DON'T CARE. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED ONE PHONE CALL, NOT ONE MESSAGE, NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH. THEY DON'T CARE

Worse patient care ever! A family member had a port replaced and was VERY apprehensive. Nurse Ratchet wouldn't let a former Surgical Nurse of 29 years go with him into preop. Not asking for special treatment, but maybe compassion of the actual patient. READ THE ROOM Nurse Ratchet! Your patient was nervous! Checked on the status 2.5 hours layer and was told 45 minutes more, he's still in surgery. Seriously! If he's still IN surgery, he'll need time in Post-Op to monitor post anesthesia meds. Waiting room was HOT! 80 degrees! Bacteria grows in heat. This place is the lowest of low. Where are the standards of healthcare??
