It's obvious Dr McCoy does not do her research about steroid eye drops and how it induce the collagen in the eye triggering PVD and floaters. It's quite obvious three days prior to the eye drops in writing from an eye doctor I had zero PVD in my eyes. Perfect eye pressure perfectly healthy eyes. Three days later after steroid eye drop three and right eye and one drop in left eye... Hours later I got black floaters. Dr McCoy is ignorant and obviously not as smart as Mayo and Cleveland Clinic which is all over the internet. And she doesn't return calls!!!
My mom had a visit in Nov 2025. our specialist, Lisa, was amazing. her demeanor, communication and professionalism was outstanding. she comforted my mom throughout the appointment and we were very happy with our experience with her.
Being new to AZ and finding Southwestern Eye Center and Dr Brill was easy and itβs close to my new home. Staff were super friendly. Maddie was Tech I worked closest with for most of exam. Maddie was Super nice and fully explained Each and every step of my exam. Dr Brill was also very nice and explained fully my results. Thank you π
I give this place 1 star because the staff is nice. The doctors however, completely different story. Had to have retinal and cataract surgery at this place. I was supposed to sit and talk with the surgeon about the procedure. NEVER HAPPENED. The day of the surgery they gave me a scan code with the cataract information on it. IT TELLS ME NOTHING ABOUT THE PRODUCT. Not too mention I was told to take a Tylenol for pain after the surgery. I have never wanted to harm myself until then. The follow-up was even worse. The surgeon was rude, physically rough with my eye. He snatched the stitch out of my eye then called me sensitive. My most recent visit was even worse. The surgery was unsuccessful and I personally feel that if the consultation was given, I NEVER would have had the procedure done. The doctors do not listen to what patients are going through. It's all about collecting insurance money. Never felt more disrespected in my life by people who are supposed to make you feel better. I honestly hate this place. Wouldn't advise an enemy to go here. Currently looking for a better facility for my eye care needs.
Both Madeline and Dr. Greene were extremely gentle and caring handling my inflamed and very painful burning eyes after suffering chemical burns! Quite a relief after being man-handled for hours at a local hospital ER for 10 hours,, leaving my eyes traumatized with scratches to both corneas and swollen closed leaving me literally blind! My eyes were open, I could see again and my extreme burning pain was dissipating rapidly! Day 2 now on properly prescibed eyes drops, my eyes are feeling almost back to 100%! I highly recommend this business! Incredible empathic professional staff all around from the waiting room to check-out! This office is the standard of excellence!
