I was particularly pleased with the care of the admitting nurse, who not only efficiently set my IV, but also did excellent work keeping her patient calm and in good spirits. They called and asked if I'd reschedule my time of arrival for a colonoscopy. No big deal. I did all the prep work and all the unpleasantness that goes along with it. My wife took the day off to drive me home. I got a call this morning just after taking my last round of prep telling me that Dr. Jones has been "inconvenienced" and my appointment is canceled. Emergencies, I get. But don't tell me you're inconvenienced when I've been on a liquid diet and on the toilet all night and my wife and I have both lost a day of work. I called to reschedule and was informed that I can't be seen for two months. I asked if I could get some consideration because I was dropped four hours before my appointment. The answer was no. If you think your inconvenience is going to be taken into consideration at Digestive Health Specialists, I can assure you, it won't.
