Great little outpatient surgery center. The staff is very efficient and friendly which makes the experience almost fun. Geena was great at walking me through the pre-op procedures and very knowledgeable with reflective listening. ♌️

Illegal billing practice from billing manager for banner surgery tempe facility In Phoenix said if they don't collect deductible estimate where insurance has not even processed facility claim then can't get surgery. Found in-network surgery center is generally not allowed to decline a patient for not paying their deductible and coinsurance upfront, as network contracts with insurance companies typically prohibit them from denying care for this reason. They can still request these payments, but if you decline, they are usually obligated to proceed with the service and bill your insurance instead. For emergency services and some other care at an in-network facility, Arizona and federal laws provide strong protections against surprise billing and upfront denials based on cost.

This was my first surgery, so I had no idea what to expect but everyone here starting at the front desk was so friendly, so informative about the whole process and made me feel incredibly comfortable. Dr. Woods is an absolute rockstar of a surgeon, my pre-op nurse thoroughly answered all my questions while getting me set up and was just a genuine person. I also really just want to thank the anesthesiologist during my surgery...I had no idea how scared I was until I was in the surgery room and everyone was getting me set up. Her looking me in the eyes and letting me know that she would be there with me the whole time just brought me the greatest sense of peace.
