Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

I’ve had two surgeries here this year. All I can say is my experience was tiptop. I’ve had multiple surgeries with other facilities in Tucson and wasn’t treated and communicated with nearly as positively as Rincon. Staff were all friendly and professional. Dr Rozell should have a family practice. This Dr actually cares and carries a great surrounding!! Highly recommend both Rincon and their staff

I had surgery at the Renon surgery center today and they were awesome. The facility was clean and the process with seamless. The medical workers were all very skilled and the Urologist and anesthesiologist both came in and explained things to me before surgery. I was very impressed and I’ve had many surgeries so I have a lot of experience in hospitals and surgery centers. Excellent.

Overall this facility is actually quite nice. I found myself here going and doing a surgery with Tucson Orthopedic for a carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve release. Overall the facility is actually quite nice and the staff up front are very kind and helped me with every need that I had at the time. The nurses in back were very very kind as well. The surgery came and went. I have no complaints. It was running a little bit late but that can be expected. I would recommend this facility to everyone. It's clean. The people are very very kind and the recovery area was very pleasant. Thanks folks.

No one called me to tell me when my son’s surgery would take place. I left several messages and no one from scheduling has called me back. Completed my registration and paid my fees. It’s now the day before his surgery was supposed to happen and I have no information.
