I flunked my DMV vision test. DMV had me take a form for the optometrist to sign. During my vision test, it was pointed out to me my left eye had cataract. My optometrist who happen to work at Empire Eye Center suggested I have a meeting with Dr. Chang. I met with Dr. Chang two weeks later where he explained everything. My left was scheduled for surgery Nov. 22. I was nervous the night before and during being admitted. Everyone was nice. The anesthesiologist had a word with me and explained he would be next to me and I should just relax. Once in the operating room, all I remember was Dr. Chang said a few words and the next thing is the nurse waking me up to let me know my son has arrived to pick me up. I had the post surgery check up with Dr. Chang and all was good. My left eye vision has improved so much. 2 weeks later, my right underwent the same procedure. I was more at ease, I was also the first patient of the day for surgery. Same process, the last thing I remember was looking at the anesthesiologist and then "boom" I was out. Like the first time, the nurse is waking me up to let me know my ride was there to pick me up. Thank you Dr. Chang. I can read without my glasses!
