I had trouble understanding the accent of the person asking me questions. A very sweet, lovely girl. I was not happy that the IV was placed in my hand. It has always been in my arm in the past. Love Dr Matuk. He is caring and consciouencious. The rest of the staff was very professional.

My experience at Truxtun Surgery Center was a 5 star experience. The front desk staff were kind, quick, and efficient. I waited maybe 15 minutes before my name was called by my sweet nurse. I was given plenty of privacy. The gown was very roomy and comfortable. The gurney was soft and comfortable. The nursing staff were very quick in getting me ready for my routine procedure. In less than 10 minutes I was changed, IV in place, consent for procedure verified and then I was taken by a nice group of people to the procedure room. Dr. Bhaika was there waiting for me and he asked me a few health questions. He then reassured me that the prep was worse than the procedure. (That was so nice of him since I was a bit nervous). They then had me lay on my side and they kindly kept me covered with a blanket until the sedation took effect. Next thing I know Dr Bhaika reassured me everything went fine and I could wait about 5 years to do this again. The nursing staff took me back to where I got dressed and allowed me a little time to wake up from the sedation. They called my ride to come as soon as I was done. Then after I got dressed, my nurse walked me out to the car and encouraged me to go home and get some rest. Thank you to the entire team! I would definitely recommend Truxtun Surgery Center. I received the best care, and everyone was so nice. See you all in 5 years. 😊

Procedure and staff were amazing. The only complaint was I arrived for my appointment at 11:00 and sat in the waiting room until 1:30. Was hard especially because of having had to do the prep night before and no food was starting to feel nauseous and light headed. Just hoped that for a procedure like this, they would be a little more organized with their time and scheduling. It’s not a fun or pleasant prep and experience to begin with, so being more aware of these facts would have been nice.
