I'm very pleased with my experience. The nurses and staff were friendly, professional and confident. The doctor was actually even running early. They did discharge me pretty quickly but it was fine because I was doing well. I definitely would recommend coming here and would use this facility again.
"I had an excellent experience with Dr. Jecmenica and the entire staff at Corona Heights Surgery Center. From the initial consultation to the day of the procedure, everyone was professional, kind, and attentive. Dr. Jecmenica took the time to explain everything in detail, which really put my mind at ease. The nurses were amazing plus the Anesthesiologist ( sorry forgot her name) made me feel calm and the facility was clean and comfortable. I felt very well cared for and highly recommend them for any gastroenterology needs."
They set an appointment, but do not keep it. 3 hours after my scheduled appointment. Made me pay upfront, even though procedure is fully covered. Insurance company said alot of companies are making the Patient pay upfront and bill later so they dont have to wait to be paid.
I cannot say enough good things about Corona Summit Surgical Center. From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make me feel safe, respected, and genuinely cared for — especially after I shared that I had previously suffered a traumatic medical injury elsewhere. After a simple check in with the lovely receptionist, Amber, my pre-op nurse, was an absolute angel. She got my IV in perfectly on the first try with zero pain. She chatted with me kindly to help calm my nerves until the anesthesiologist arrived. Speaking of which, I sadly forgot his name, but he was amazing — professional, warm, and explained everything thoroughly while making sure I was completely comfortable before the procedure. My post-op nurse — I believe her name was Maricela, the awesome nurse with the special needs Doberman — was equally wonderful. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and even wheeled me all the way out to meet my medical transport, making sure I felt safe and supported every step of the way. Colonoscopy prep is rough and the procedure itself is daunting, but this team turned one of the most uncomfortable medical experiences into one of the best I’ve ever had. I’m truly grateful for their compassion and care. If I could give more than five stars, I would.
Mistreated by Unprofessional Handling and Lack of Accountability: I sold a CCD camera for one of their C-arm X-ray machines to Corona Summit Surgical Center. After they requested a return, I accepted, expecting the item to be properly packed. Unfortunately, the item was returned with poor packaging, and it arrived damaged. When I received the broken item, I followed the instructions of Susan Hawthorne, who was nice to deal with and asked me to send it back to them. As a small business, a $2,000 loss is a huge deal for us, and this situation has hurt my company. After sending it back, I contacted Frank Czizniak for assistance. His response was appalling. Instead of taking any responsibility for the mishandling of the packaging, he rudely told me that the package wasn’t insured, essentially placing the blame on me. He acted as if it was my fault for not insuring the package, and made no effort to resolve the situation. He didn’t even apologize for the damage, simply stating it was too bad and hanging up on me. This experience has been incredibly frustrating. Not only did I receive a broken item due to their poor packaging, but when I tried to resolve it, I was met with disrespect and a complete lack of accountability. Frank Czizniak’s actions made it clear that he doesn’t care about doing right by the customer or vendor. I’m sharing this so other vendors are aware of the lack of professionalism and care at this company. If you decide to work with them, be prepared to deal with unprofessional behavior and no responsibility for mistakes.
