The whole staff was amazing. I felt comfortable and Mary cared for anthologist was wonderful. My doctor was amazing. The nurses were great. The only issue I had and it really wasn’t an issue because it happens, but I had to be poked three times before they were able to put an IV in me but I have rolling vein so I can’t really blame it on anybody. They were very gentle and tried they’re very best again I would give them five stars because they were all fantastic.
I went for colonoscopy and endoscopy together. Everything goes so smoothly from the beginning .Nurse Annie was the one with all explanation and the questions that I had to answer and another nurse Annie set up my IV with no problem and in a few minutes, I was in the room and after that, I don’t remember. when I wake up ,I was ready to go home. They hand me some papers that had pictures of colonoscopy and endoscopy very clearly. Thank you, Dr. Paul Lee.
In my professional opinion, this is a well run facility. My experience was wonderful and I recommend them for GI care. My ride did not remember all of the initial instructions for pickup, so it was not as smooth as it could have been. Front office staff may not have notified back office that he had arrived for pickup and was waiting in the lobby. However, this was minor and I was happy with my care.
After a positive home colon cancer test, I had a colonoscopy performed by Dr Oman of the Digestive Disease Consultants of Orange County who use the Hoag Endoscopy Center in Irvine. While I dont use Hoag for my primary care, I choose them to use Dr Oman who had performed my colonoscopy 3 years prior. The facility was clean and modern. The Hoag staff was kind and genuine, from the nurses to the doctor. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. It was a very easy and comfortable experience. During recovery or the shortly after the procedure, the doctor spent time with me to review the results. The doctor offered very complete and comprehensive answers to my questions and I did not feel rushed. The worse part of the colonoscopy process was the day prior preparation to clean the colon and having to drink (or choke down) 32 oz of the awful Suprep concoction. After that the actual procedure the next day was a breeze. This was the 2nd colonoscopy performed here and both times I was very pleased. On both occasions the home colon cancer test provided a false positive and both times the doctor found no cancerous polyps.
Had a colonoscopy at Hoag Irvine Endoscopy Center with Dr. Victor Yu and his team. From check-in to recovery, the experience was smooth and well-managed. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The facility was clean. The procedure started on time, and the team handled the prep, IV, and anesthesia professionally. I appreciated how supported I felt during the whole process. If you’re looking for a reliable and caring place for endoscopic procedures, I highly recommend this center.
