Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

We had a really unfortunate experience at this office. My daughter carefully explained her situation and made an appointment, so we thought everything was in good hands. The doctor discussed the procedure with us, and we even planned for future surgery. Everything felt like it made sense. Then, two weeks later, they called to tell us the doctor hadn’t performed this procedure in 20 years. We appreciated the honesty, of course, but now we’re being charged for a visit that ultimately went nowhere. We understand doctors have their limits, but it’s hard to accept being billed for something that shouldn’t have been scheduled in the first place. We also called the office and asked if they could waive the copay, since the visit didn’t lead anywhere meaningful. Unfortunately, they didn’t agree to that!

I had to get a tooth extraction and was so nervous at first, but the entire team made me feel calm and well taken care of from start to finish. From scheduling the appointment to the post-op visit, everyone was amazing. Dr. Lee did a fantastic job. He was very attentive and took the time to answer all my questions before and after the procedure. Emely made me feel so comfortable during the visit and even brought me a blanket to help me relax. Stephanie, Krista, Sharon, and Ariel were all incredible, kind, supportive, and professional. Dr. Clark saw me for my post-op visit and was also very kind and thorough in answering all my questions again. I can truly say this whole team is amazing, and I highly recommend them!
