Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

ColonoscopyA flexible camera examines the full length of the colon to screen for cancer and remove polyps before they become cancerous. Done under sedation, it typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. The bowel prep the day before is the part most patients find hardest.Upper Endoscopy (EGD)A thin camera passed through the mouth examines the esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine. Used to investigate persistent heartburn, difficulty swallowing, unexplained bleeding, or abdominal pain. Usually takes 15 to 30 minutes under sedation.Flexible SigmoidoscopyExamines the lower portion of the colon only, rather than its full length. Preparation is lighter than a full colonoscopy and sedation is sometimes unnecessary, but it cannot detect problems higher in the colon.Capsule EndoscopyYou swallow a vitamin-sized camera that photographs the small intestine as it passes through — a region that standard scopes cannot easily reach. There is no sedation and no recovery. The capsule passes naturally, and images are reviewed after the fact.ERCPCombines endoscopy and X-ray imaging to diagnose and treat blockages in the bile and pancreatic ducts, most often gallstones stuck in a duct. Unlike a routine endoscopy, it carries a meaningful risk of pancreatitis afterward, so it is used when treatment is likely rather than for screening alone.Hemorrhoid TreatmentShrinks or removes swollen veins in the rectum and anus using rubber band ligation, injection, or surgical removal depending on severity. Banding is quick and typically requires no anesthesia; surgical removal is more effective for advanced cases but recovery is noticeably more uncomfortable.

Really don't get why there are so many bad reviews. I arrived here at 10:45 AM and walked away at 1 PM. Everything was great. Great reception, great nurses and great doctors. Procedure went great, had some good sleep and a couple of juices.

This place is HORRIBLE, go elsewhere. Save yourself the worse experience 👎. I had my appointment scheduled 15 months after my doctor's referral as they were booked until then. One day before procedure, I was call to confirm appointment at 9:30 a.m. and was told not to be late. I arrived at 9:10 a.m. but didn't get my vitals checked until two hours after I arrived. I was not called in for procedure until 4hrs after my 9:30 a.m. appointment. While I was waiting, the lobby was packed and outside sitting was very limited to non existent. I can't believe this gastrointestinal office doesn't offer it's patient adequate sitting area and care so little for its patients time. This office has zero empathy and just sees patients as $$. I will never be back to this office and will rather travel to different provider.

Very unprofessional. Never experienced something like this in my life. Not sure how they are still allowed to give care to patients. I arrived 30 mins earlier than my appointment, I filled out the forms and gave them to the older lady at the front, and then she called me in to take my vitals and screening. She looked at me and exclaimed angrily, raising her voice “you’re 59 years old? Your face doesn’t seem like 59. What did you do to your face?” Not in a complimenting way, like she was angry. Other staff heard and just looked and didn’t say anything. I was so shocked, I didn’t know how to answer. After, I was brought back out to the waiting room where I waited an additional 3 hours to be called in. During this time she would randomly glare at me and give me looks when walking around. For some reason my file was put to the side and all of the other 10 people who arrived after me got called in and done before they even touched my file. Even those who arrived 2-3 hours after me, were in and out of the clinic in less than an hour. I didn’t get her name, but from my experience in the clinic as a whole, they don’t care much or at all for your well being or in being professional. There’s no solid system or accountability in place for the staff to the point where this employee felt free to hold my file back based on her feelings. And judging by other reviews, the same thing has been done before multiple times and nothing has changed.

I had my appointment today with Dr.Solomon, safe and easy. I was extremely nervous as this was my first time getting a procedure done like the one I did. The RNs Sharon and Marissa were the sweetest and so helpful! They made me feel very comfortable! Kendall the anesthesiologist was very nice as well! I was in and out in no time, I recommend this team to anyone! I hope they enjoy the sweet treats I sent over for them.
