Slowest eye doctors office in the world. Make sure you cancel any plans you have that day, nothing else will get done.
Staff is friendly, fast & efficient. Dr. Martel is amazing. Overall experience 10/10.
I would give this place a negative if I could. The worst place ever!! not only have they lost referrals and authorization forms, but their excuse is we get so many we don't call anyone to confirm. like this place and its staff is a joke all around. its needs to find better staff or be shut down.
EVERY visit I had here was hours long. They only have one doctor available meanwhile every time the waiting room was FULL. Lacks clear communication. Horrible staff. From the front desk to the research team, they won't look you in the eyes and have rancid attitudes/ personalities. They do not care about your health or concerns, they rush you out despite an extremely long waiting period. I participated in a year long trial and was ripped off for my time. They told me I had one of the best trial diaries and then dropped me without any warning. When I called to confront them and I mentioned my health concerns (I'm 26 with chronic dry eye disease) they laughed it off and got angry with me. I was more professional than them. A joke. Don't waste your time here. Like I did for a year, only to be disrespected and laughed at.
I was referred here by the hospital due to having a really bad stye that wasn’t actually a stye but cellulitis on my eye. I do like that I’m able to be seen like as quickly as the same day or next day, it helps solve the issue quicker and get the meds you need for the body can heal. I waited to write a review but I’ve been going here for almost a month and they did help heal my eye tremendously. The ointment, eye drops, and antibiotics definitely sped up the process. The front staff is a hit and miss, I’ve seen one that is rude but the rest is very friendly and helpful. The main doctor, Dr.Martel comes off as rude at least for my very first visit. My eye was in pain and he was poking at it very aggressively and told me stop backing away and I was trying to but it hurt. I expressed my pain and concerns to him while he was doing this but he just gave up and told me to clean it myself when I got home. I did & did it a lot softer and was able to remove my eyelashes like he had wanted to do but he was doing it more harsh. I also don’t like how it feels as if he rushes through every patient, I understand you have hundreds of patients through the week but I was only seen for like 5mins when I finally got a room. I waited longer in the waiting room ranging from 30mins to 2hrs. If the doctor or staff didn’t feel a bit rushed or rude, I’d give a better review. They’re helpful so that’s good. (Same review by me on Yelp)
