I was very nervous before my cataract surgery and every person I interacted with was compassionate, kind, and supportive. Hilary the RN who got me ready for surgery, Betsy the surgical nurse who is with me during the procedure, Dr. Weimar, the anesthesiologist and Dr. Josson, my surgeon made me feel confident and relaxed, quite an accomplishment for a high anxiety person like me! Thank you West Coast Surgery Center for such excellent care.

Operation by Dr Tayani is excellent it’s the other things that could improve. Like the pre operation I formation seems to be by a part time staff because they do not get back after leaving over 5 msgs and I have to keep calling g every few days. It’s very poor communications. It’s also poor in post operation but I wrote below what I suggest be done to be much more specific. I would Hugh suggest that written instructions for post operating for both medication and application be given to each patient . I’ve had several questions and I have to wait for someone to get back to me.

Efficient and smooth process for my cataract surgery. All the nurses are friendly and supportive. Dr Joson performed the surgery masterfully Just completed the second eye. Perfect once more. Dr Joson and the staff were excellent once again.

I recently had cataract and lens replacement surgery on my first eye performed by Dr. Gwynn at the Tayani Institute, and my experience so far has been excellent. From the initial consultation through the day of surgery, I felt well-informed, comfortable, and confident in the care I received. Dr. Gwynn was thorough, patient, and took the time to clearly explain the procedure and what to expect. His calm, professional manner immediately put me at ease. The nursing staff at the surgery facility also deserve special recognition. They were warm, attentive, and reassuring throughout the entire process. Their kindness and professionalism made a big difference in helping me feel at ease before and after the procedure. Although I’m still in the early days of recovery, I’m already seeing with terrific vision in my first eye. My second procedure is scheduled for next week, and based on this experience, I feel very optimistic and confident moving forward. I highly recommend Dr. Gwynn and the team at the Tayani Institute to anyone considering cataract or lens replacement surgery. The quality of care and attention to detail has been outstanding.
