Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Dr Davis is the BEST pain management doctor in LA & Orange county combined! I recently moved & I made a consult appointment with a doc in a prominent Newport Beach practice. This Dr. seemed to have awareness in treatments available and was very discouraging. Dr. Davis believes in me (69 years old). He believes I can live a life that is still without pain - or significantly reduced pain. I love Tim Davis & his staff. I am hoping to play golf next month for my birthday & take my grandkids to Disneyland too. I may or may not be able to do this- but I know Dr Davis & Mario will try and help me reach my goals

I have been seeing Dr Davis for well over a decade for my very comprehensive and painful back conditions. There is absolutely no other doctor in this world that I trust more than him. Dr Davis has never steered me wrong and I know I’m getting the very best care with him and his entire staff. If you want a professional doctor who listens, is cutting edge, knows what he’s talking about, Dr Davis/Source Healthcare is the place. I couldn’t be more grateful to have him as my doctor.

I saw Dr. Davis at The Source for back pain three weeks ago, and I was truly impressed. I was able to get an MRI reviewed the same day and received a clear pain management plan right away. After a steroid epidural for a bulging disc, my pain significantly improved within a week, and I’m now able to play golf again. Dr. Davis and the entire staff are professional, efficient, and genuinely kind. I highly recommend The Source to anyone dealing with orthopedic or spine pain.

I don’t leave reviews often, but I had to for Dr. Jungjae Lim. After my knee surgery, I was feeling stuck and helpless about pain management. Dr. Jungjae Lim didn’t just treat a symptom. He listened, validated what I was experiencing, and walked me through real options with clarity and confidence. He is extremely knowledgeable, and the care felt collaborative, like I had a partner in figuring this out instead of being brushed off. The whole office experience was excellent too. Check-in was smooth, the staff was genuinely kind and helpful, and the office was clean, organized, and well-kept. I left feeling seen, supported, and relieved. If you want pain management from someone who truly cares and knows what they’re doing, I highly recommend Dr. Jungjae Lim.

My Orthopedoc surgeon felt Source could help. Dr Lim didn't feel he could be of service. Suggested PT, medicare cut me off; AndTo go to ucla spinal doctor. 4 month wait. I've seen one. Surgery is not advised. He Suggested I pay For PT. Expensive for senior. He didn't want to address shoulders arms wrists with pain. Which was part of referral. I felt ignored and dismissed. He didn't answer any questions or give me any insight. Maybe spinal injections wouldn't help OK. But explain it to me. No treatment is better than bad treatment.
