Highly recommended. Initially eye doctor Pontius recommended a well known name in the community. After having the pre-surgery interview with the Zeiter Group we became very uncomfortable. In essence the eye doctor told us he could not use laser but he had to cut with the knife. He also warned us that he may have to go twice to the same eye to remove pretty hardened cataract. At such point we conducted an internet search for best eye cataract surgeon and the Valley Laser & Surgery came up as most recommended by the equivalent of Consumer Reports for the medical profession. After looking up the qualification of key doctors we realized they had received training at Stanford and part of an eye program well known in the nation as perhaps the best of its kind. At such point we decided to switch and perform the cataract surgery for an 86-year old member of the family w/ Dr. Kim. The surgery went exceptionally well. Not only laser was used (which Zeiter told us it couldn't use for this patient due to hardened cataract) but there were zero complications. The patient feels wonderful; the vision on both eyes is 20/50 and it's a great improvement for the quality of life of the patient. It also gave us the satisfaction that we made the right choice.
