I have always liked Dr Weiner and staff but now that they are closed on Friday. Probably have to find another doctor. This is very saddening

Update: I called and canceled my husband’s procedure 3 weeks in advance (again, I had nothing in writing/text/email regarding this appointment) as I became increasingly concerned about this medical practice. What a surprise to receive our copy of their billing from TriWest/VA Community: the pain center billed the VA for over $17,000 for a procedure (we were told it would take 10-15 minutes) THAT NEVER TOOK PLACE. Please know a full investigation by the VA and TriWest is under way. FRAUD. Original review: I remain shocked, as I assist my husband in navigating this pain treatment center, at the extreme lack of professionalism. I have learned that even if you stand right at the front desk and have a clear, concise conversation regarding a next appointment, then confirm that time/date…this DOES NOT mean you have an appointment! You will receive no automated text or email confirmations. You will show up only to learn that…guess what..you actually don’t have an appointment because the office didn’t call you! Right now I am attempting to actually get confirmation that my husband does have a procedure in a few days, as the surgical center nurse stated, but no one can confirm this. Nor has anyone provided any pre-procedure guidelines, even though I have asked for them. I have never experienced such a lack of professionalism. The absence of clear, patient-centered communication is shocking. I will be reporting this to the VA Community Care outreach-veterans deserve far better and this “surgery center” does not deserve VA/taxpayer dollars. Avoid this place-you deserve far better.

The wait time for some appointments are crazy it shouldn't take hour plus for med refills. The front desk is so unorganized and they don't answer phones put you on hold for 10+mins. It makes it so hard to make appointments, i been waiting 6 months for them get back to me about my injections and when i finally get answers they tell me the information got lost. I can say the doctors are great though only reason i stay but at this point i think its time for me to find another office.

I have been a patient at Innovative Pain Treatment Solutions in Temecula for almost 2 years now. As a chronic pain patient with spinal nerve damage for many years this is the 4th pain management clinic I have been a patient of. The other 3 clinics all had a routine of spending as little time as possible with me. Their goal it seemed was to prescribe,and approve refills of medicine-nothing else. They were not interested in hearing from me about my pain or of my desire to try other alternatives than just taking medicine. Every doctor at Innovative Pain Treatment Solutions however has treated me quite differently from those clinics. Not only have they taken the time to listen to me but they have actually moved me away from a medicine only treatment. They have tried several procedures and trials to date and we have more scheduled. I really feel like they have made it their personal mission to help improve my life by helping me better understand and reduce my physical pain. Dr Weiner is like no doctor I can ever remember. His patience, his wit, his deep knowledge of pain treatment and desire not to cause you further pain while treating your pain is second to none. He is constantly being reminded by his nurses of the need to hurry up because he spends so much time with his patients. I personally do not mind waiting because I know I will always get my fair share of his time. Dr Ng is so enthusiastic about finding solutions for you. He goes above and beyond in making sure you understand why your pain is happening and what you can do to help yourself and what procedures he can do for you as well. While I have only known Dr Chravarthy a short time he has already conducted a trial on me that none of my previous Doctors would even consider. He constantly reminds me that I am the most important person in the room. He and Dr Weiner have both reached out to me at home after hours to check on me after a procedure, something I have never experienced. Long story short, if you are a chronic pain patient and you are tired of getting a rushed and one size fits all approach from your doctor you are doing yourself a great dis-service by not giving Innovative Pain Treatment Solutions in Temecula a try.
