I had knee surgery at Saxton Surgical Center two days ago. Even though I've had surgery before, it can still be nerve-wracking. Thankfully, my family came with me, and the receptionist was very kind to them. Nurse Rachel prepared me for the surgery and was excellent. She explained everything clearly and answered all my questions. Her confidence and experience were reassuring. When I told her I was nervous, she helped me relax by chatting about other things. After the procedure, two other nurses took care of me, and they were also very kind and helpful. The next day, a nurse called to check on me. She listened to how I was feeling and gave me useful advice. Throughout the whole process, I felt comfortable and never rushed. If you have surgery scheduled here, you'll be in great hands. Thank you to everyone at Saxton Surgical Center!

I had an outpatient procedure at Saxon and had a wonderful experience. The entire staff, including Dr. Assil, was so kind and caring. The whole process was so efficiently managed and everyone was so professional, yet warm and friendly. I have to go back at least two more times and knowing in advance what a great facility this is, I don’t mind at all!

I came here for Dr. Assil to assist with something. All the nurses were super nice and really polite. They all tried to get to know a little about me and made sure I was relatively comfortable and knew what was going to happen. The anesthesiologist gave me a full talk to make sure the right stuff was used and nothing bad would happen. The doctor was the last one to consult with me to make sure I was ready and knew what to expect. In the best sense of the phrase, my experience was like an 'alien abduction' I do not remember the procedure, and there is about 45 minutes of that day missing and I am glad! The procedure went smoothly with minimal after effects... I think. All I remember were the warm and welcoming staff there. I had to go back to the office about 2 months later to ask about some paper work. Before I spoke, I was greeted by name. It was not just one nurse, another one shouted "Hey, are you back for more?" I was shocked! It is incredibly rare to find a place that remembers you when they have so many patients go in and out daily.

The doctor and the anesthesiologists were great and caring; you can not find a better doctor anywhere. However, the reception desk staff needs to learn people skills. My wife Irma arrived at your office, and her sister was accompanying her to drop her off, one of the receptionists and no need to mention names; well, this receptionist was very disrespectful to my wife, who was already horribly in pain Irma, was treated in a demeaning manner by the receptionist. She told Irma that she was told to bring an I.D. with a photo in a very derogatory way. I have never been in a doctor's office where the staff runs amok and the receptionist racing her voice to asked Irma for picture identification. Irmas had left her purse in her sisters' car and, the receptionist was told to go get it  "TO GO GET IT" What kind of a person gives orders to a doctor's patient? Irma was told to go get it in a demeaning way; when her sister returned, the receptionist said to her sister, "You can't stay here" Irma had already told that the sister was dropping her off the office.  Please don't admonish the receptionist; she needs to be people-oriented. We still would recommend the doctor and many by then the receptionist well have better people skills.
