What a wonderful 5 years plus this has been in with Dr Bi Mo and staff. They’re professionally courteous, attentive, and supportive. I have had the opportunity to get to know Dr Bi Mo and I have to say he has proven to be an excellent physician and helpful in every possible way. He has taken the time to listen, given positive direction for rehabilitation, been honest, and most of all he’s been in my corner and highly supportive and patient. Unfortunately, I suffer from many chronic ailments and see a lot of physicians, and Dr Mo has proven to be one of my most trusted doctors and I am glad he has chosen to help me in my journey.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I was seen in Westlake and in Thousand Oaks and both were awful. Primary in Westlake will just push everything off to anyone else they can. Might as well be Kiaser. The Thousand Oaks office, for pain management, was the worst offender. Within the 8 minutes the doctor spent with me he told me I'm too young to have pain so just do physical therapy or surgery. So not enough pain to be concerned but also enough to do surgery. By the end of the visit, in which he had already decided what he wanted to do before he got in the room, I received a bill for over $1k. Don't go here unless you want to be broke and dead because they couldn't care less.

Dr Chahal showed absolutely no compassion. He reviewed every surgery and diagnosis I have had. He asked why, why, why and I explained every single thing. He clearly had his mind made up before he met me. He told me there was nothing he could do and that I was "on a lifelong path" with narcotics even though I told him I don't want to take them and repeatedly asked for other ways to treat my pain. He was cold and completely unhelpful and then put in my visit notes that he "warned me" about narcotic use even though I was the one telling him I wanted other solutions. I have seen other doctors at this location who are great, but not pain management.

I give the highest commendations to UCLA's PMS Dr Bi Mo. What a 180 degree difference. Dr Mo was patient, kind, thoroughly explained my situation and his recommendations which include acupuncture, continued PT, etc. Confirmed I do not need surgery even tho a spine surgeon highly recommended it. Spent an hour reviewing my chart with Jim and me. Have a followup appt and highly recommend him.
