I've had procedures done here a couple times now. Very clean, professional, and very nice staff. Today, my nurse was Kathy. She went above and beyond. Really cares about her patients and it shows ❤
I love my doctor and this facility and the staff were amazing and attentive but six months later my claims are still pending and Pacific made me pay my deductible and coinsurance up front but there were duplicate and/or incomplete billings and my claims are still pending. I will never go back. If this is the only facility he works out of I will change doctors. This is ridiculous.
I went in for a procedure, and the staff was amazing. Phillip was the sweetest nurse, and took great care of me during recovery. He was very attentive, and answered all the questions I had. I also have to give kudos to Jaime , and Sixta they were amazing nurses.
Yesterday I had two procedures performed at Pacific Endo. The staff, including nurses Sandy and Lauron, were kind, warm and efficient. Dr. Reddy and the anesthesiologist did a fine job and the post-opp report was complete with numerous photos. I imagine it may not allays go this smoothly, but I was in and out in under three hours. Good teamwork. Would gladly return to Pacific Endo Center if/when I need more work done.
Never go here. If you do, record every phone call, take copies of every document, and force them to clearly repeat and confirm EVERYTHING they say. It's not about the doctors, it's about the facility's operational competence. My experience was a nightmare. I was called by someone in the front office to confirm my procedure 5 days prior. They confirmed my procedure, that I would be undergoing anesthesia, and confirmed what my costs would be out-of-pocket. They confirmed the surgery time as 2pm and to show up at 1pm, which I had already marked on my calendar as 1pm, show up at Noon. I remember making the quip about taking my time since I had an extra hour, and no contradiction was given. I was told not to eat or drink anything 8 hours prior to surgery, but was given an okay to have water in the morning. On the day of my surgery, I received a phone call from the Center at 12:15pm, asking where I was. Strike 1. Upon arrival, I was asked to pay a sum that was $200 more than what was confirmed on the phone. Strike 2. Upon getting set up with my IV and running through pre-op info, I was asked in an accusatory manner, "why would you do that!?!" when I told them I had some water in the morning. Strike 3. I had to wait an extra 2 hours just to have the procedure due to this. Oh, if only that was ALL that went wrong. Having wanted to forget the name Pacific Endo, I received a bill last Monday for a procedure I did not have. The Center initially tried to pass the buck to the billing company, but I had called them first and confirmed that the Center initiated the charge and they were the ones I had to contact. The manager was out until Thursday, so I called then. The manager was supposedly in a meeting, so I left a message. My message went unreturned, so I had to call again this Monday. While they say they have finally resolved that issue, I won't believe it until I see the next bill with $0.00 on it. I would continue with the additional ex-post-facto bills that have arrived when I've already paid more than I was initially asked to pay out-of-pocket prior to the procedure, but Pacific Endo has clearly stated that these other bills are not their problem. So, if you can get over the incompetence and lack of ownership of any issues that may arise, by all means, go and see Pacific Endo for your next procedure! As for myself, I will leave only this warning note, and hope that I will soon be free from this awful experience.
