It was my first colonoscopy ever today and I was very nervous but from the staff at the front checking me in, to Eileen who explained process before starting, to Virginia (?) who meticulously inserted my IV, to my nurse whoâs name escapes me that gave me my sedation, to Dr GondaâŚthey all made the procedure so much better than I thought itâd be. They took very good care of me and made sure I was warm and comfy. Sorry if I botched the names as Iâm a little groggy still but I just wanted to say THANK YOU to them all for making this a comfortable experience when I was extremely nervous.
I was required to be there at 8:30 for my 9:30 procedure. I was taken in and prepared by Dr. Pedraza's assistant. She was wonderful! She got me all ready and started my I.V. Dr. Pedraza's nurse was very nice too as she took me into the procedure room. Dr. Pedraza was friendly and personable. It was as pleasant experience as it could be considering I was having a colonoscopy. Procedure takes maybe 20 minutes via twilight sedation then I was ready to be picked up at 10:30. Highly recommend the Ventura Endoscopy Center. I have been there twice and both times their medical staff were professional and my coloscopies went very well.
I had a colonoscopy this morning and everything went smoothly. This was my second experience at this facility. The staff was very professional and caring. My husband was permitted to stay with me until they took me back for the procedure. Dr. Lyche honored my request for âlight sedationâ so I could be awake during the procedure and watch on the monitor. The nurse in the procedure room was very reassuring, as I was nervous. I went home 30 minutes later. I highly recommend it.
I had a wonderful experience the nurse I had and all the staff were so nice and accommodating. I had a colonoscopy first at this place. My doctor and everyone was so super nice and it went so well and quick. I would totally recommend this place and will definitely go here again when the time comes. Thank you đđ
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They are NOT Following the California Laws of no longer requiring masks and do not allow patients to have people with them!!!! Take your business to Channel Islands Surgery Center!! Or elsewhere so much nicer, and follow the laws and allow family and friends to wait with the patients until the go back
