I was so impressed with the professionalism, kindness and efficiency of this Surgery Center. All of the staff was so helpful and patient. I particularly want to mention Denise and Kelly in preop but the surgical and postoperative nurses were also wonderful. I had one nurse walk by me in preop, who wasn’t even assigned to me, stop and put a warming blanket over me. It was that kind of thoughtfulness and caring that prompted me to give them 5 stars. Don’t even think twice about using this facility. From a retired RN, I rate them superb!!

My dad had a procedure at The Doctors in Stanislaus county and I thought that was the best surgical center but hey we have Sequoia right here in the bay with beautiful and handsome staff who are patient and very courteous. I had a procedure there recently and love the way they work together as a team. My surgical Doctor Laura Timmerman is so personable and promises and delivers. This is a go to place for all.

I signed in and sat down. While waiting front desk staff was talking about an employee that was lateand would probably be fired. This is while waiting to be called to the desk for intake information . I go up to an employee at the desk to give my information she starts to talk loudly when requesting my information. Like i am hearing impaired. I was standing right there close there was no need for that. She then speaks in a regular voice to her coworkers and continues to raise her voice at me. The nurses in the surgery area were wonderful. Especially my nurse I believe her name was Sicily. The doctors and anesthesiologist great. My real issue was the person who assisted my nurse Debbie in dressing me after surgery . The nurse was busy then went lunch. The CNA was agressive and hostel in her actions and demoralizing. I am a cancer survivor who has had hair issues. She came in and snatched the surgical bonnet off my head, thank goodness i had a cap to wear, I needed to go to the bathroom. I expressed this and she did not allow me to do so. I had to stop at a grocery store to use the bathroom. She was rushing me and refusing to help put my bra on , saying it would hurt my shoulder. I had to tell her it was a tube bra before she did it. I was still under the anesthesia and it was hard to be more direct. She sat me in the wheelchair pushing really fast. I told her to slow down your making me dizzy. She continued faster. I believe if she could have dumped me outside on the curb like a bag of trash she would have. I don't know her name. If you are a person of color please be careful. My surgery went very well and once again most of the surgical staff was excellent.

Had a shoulder replacement on 8/8 can’t say enough great things about the care I received, check in was simple, once I was called back into pre-op I was met by Laura who was with me through the pre-op process, checking in with me and making sure I was comfortable every staff member was helpful and friendly once it was go time Jessica the surgical nurse wheeled me back to the operating room got me comfortable and the anesthesiologist said we’re gonna take great care of you last words I remember before Dr.Wiseman replaced my shoulder. Woke up in post-op was greeted by more friendly staff and made my way home finally. This post is long because I’ve seen negative reviews and my experience was very positive and I can imagine how scary surgery can be for anyone, then you hop online and read negative reviews and your concerns grow a bit more. There is some people I forgot to mention but, I just want to thank the entire team from the nurses, anesthesiologist, surgical techs and most of all my surgeon you guys were all amazing. Thank you Lee Alejandro

I had my first experience at Sequoia Surgical Pavillion in Walnut Creek this morning. I was anxious and a bit nervous until I hit the front desk and was warmly greeted by sweet and lovely Kylie. She immediately put me at ease. Then it was on to the incredibly professional and compassionate nursing staff who gave me heated blankets with an additional heater on hand as they could see I was chilly. I was certainly in the hands of women who care deeply for their patients. From Kylie who signed me in, to all the nurses: Britta, Tammy, Katrina, Nicole, Jessica (x-ray), funny Mark (tech), Ranine (patient care), Jill AND Dr. Hasan. What more could a patient ask for, Bless you all for a POSITIVE experience.
