I had hernia repair surgery 7/25. Prior to my appointment I had some questions they called back in no time. Got there in the morning and they were ready. Walked out all done and home. Not enough good to say about my nurses, anesthesiologist, and my surgeon. And, got a call today from my nurse Lynn just to check up on me. Can't ask for more. B

I had a colonoskopy today and it went very well👍. As soon at I checked in everything was very good. Customer service is top notch 👍. Procedure started at 840am was completed by 910am.

I was cheduled for knee surgery with a Kaiser surgeon at Specialty Surgical Center in Westlake Village, Ca. Staff required me to sign financial responsibility paperwork holding me responsible for UNSPECIFIED COSTS on form with such fine print which is almost impossible to read. Staff could not explain why I had to sign a GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY on a form, as they explained, is only for a knee brace! Kaiser referred me so Kaiser has all of my ins. information & has the responsibility to pay SSC, not me individually. They canceled my knee surgery although I'm in a lot of pain. I do not recommend Specialty Surgical Center.

This place was my personal hell. I have nothing but good things to say about my surgeon and the anesthesiologist, so my review is not going to address these two amazing professionals. The place was busy and I wasn’t so lucky with my nurses. One wouldn’t listen to a word I was saying, and the other was condescending when I was clearly on the verge of a panic attack. Anyone happy with that facility clearly doesn’t have anything better to compare to. I might have to edit my review soon to add more details and hopefully there won’t be complaints about billing like many posts I have already seen on here.

Got my wisdom teeth pulled here last week and they made everything super comforting and smooth. Doctor Ara Mirzaians was totally kind and helpful and calming. This was my first time being put under for a surgery and I was a bit nervous. He made it easy and quick the nurses around him were also very kind and helpful. They did a quick and smooth job and not only checked up on me once that same day but TWICE even the surgeon himself which I thought was VERY kind. My sister had hers done here too and had a good experience as well. My consultation was a very trusting consultation as well. Trust is the most important thing when it comes to medical and dental and he reached that trust with me and explained in deep detail everything and made me very aware of every option and route I could go. I’m very appreciative.
