OUTSTANDING SERVICE!!! Billing and scheduling was fast and easy. The experience from the time I arrived was wonderful. Very professional and friendly staff. Everyone was outstanding and attentive. The nurse that put the IV in was very personable as well as the anesthesiologist. Preop to recovery was great. I would highly recommend them for anyone. Dr. David Weinstein and his team are amazing as well.

Everyone I dealt with, from the front desk to the recovery room, was just wonderful. Many thanks to nurses Hope and Ali who set an excellent IV and helped calm my nerves pre-op, and Megan who gave me extra apple juice in recovery 🙃 No issues with billing; I'll update if that changes.

TLDR; great medical staff, terrible billing team. I was scheduled for 3 months to have shoulder surgery. 3 days before, I am called from the billing team to verify insurance and give me my estimate - which was $4,700. I let them know it was not right because my out of pocket max is $3,500. They said they'd check and follow up. I called and spoke to 5 different reps, all who kept saying the same thing even when I provided them a benefits contact to substantiate my claim. Come day of the surgery, I go to check in and have the same issue with front office staff. The lady kept arguing with me and even told me because I am a family member of the cardholder, they charge the family OPM, which is not how insurance works. They wanted me to pay the full $4,700 to get service and I refused. They treated me like I was an idiot who didn't know how health insurance works (Because it's a "special outpatient facility"), even though that's literally my job. I almost canceled the surgery when they got special permission to let me pay $2K and then set up an aggressive payment plan. Fast forward two weeks post surgery when my insurance was billed and surprise, surprise - my EOB showed total patient responsibility of $2,200. If I paid what they kept pressuring me to for days, I would have overpaid by $2,500 (113% more). Super frustrating experience, especially 30 minutes before you're about to have your first surgery. All the medical staff were wonderful, but I'll avoid this place in the future just to not have to deal with their billing team. P.S - the benefits analyst at my organization said another employee had a similar issue and overpaid and they've spent 18 months trying to get their money back from this company. Seems like other reviews say the same thing - another reason I refused to overpay!

I saw Dr. Kobayashi to diagnose a finger issue. He was great and his bedside manner was top notch! The problem arose with his administrative and scheduling and billing staff. They are the opposite. They are the worst I have ever dealt with. I ended up calling the billing folks 4 times and sat on hold forever to try to get insurance sorted and called his scheduling office back 11 times to try to get my surgery times locked down (after I had already scheduled it) and got voicemail after voicemail. I finally had to cancel my appointment because I could not speak with a human. I will now have to go elsewhere and start the process all over again. Perhaps they should consider improving their administrative team and process. I was very impressed with the doctor but sadly, not so much with the admin team.

If I could give no stars, I would. My wife has had shoulder surgery planned for months and been in extreme pain every single day building up to her highly anticipated procedure. The Friday before her scheduled surgery which on Monday, they call and tell us they have to cancel her surgery and reschedule due to my wife having asthma. My wife tried to explain to them her asthma is extremely minor and she hasn’t had an attack for years, but they refused to take anything into consideration and instead, refused to listen. Her doctor even called to try and convince them to move forward with the surgery, but she continued to be unreasonable and shut us down. My wife thinks her name was Alicia, or something similar that starts with an A. Now we are almost three months on the waitlist AGAIN until her next scheduled surgery date. Why would they wait until the very last minute to tell us something like this?! Unacceptable and NOT recommended.
