I flew in from Tucson, AZ, for my daughters surgery scheduled on the 13th of this month. From check-in through the next day follow-up call, I found all staff members professional, courteous, and compassionate! The waiting room is not only comfortable but welcoming with the fireplace. I would like to give a special thank you to nurse Sarah Townsend. She was not only attentive to my daughters needs, but as time between patient care permitted, she also made sure patient family members or friends were comfortable. She took time for post-op instructions, making sure they were understood without rushing. When appropriate, Sarah also brought humor into the PACU, which, from my personal experience, can be an intense environment.
