Had cataracts removed. Very comfortable and clean. Everyone was professional and friendly. I always felt like a person and not a patient.

What an amazing place! Everyone was so nice and professional. Never thought I'd say that having a medical procedure would be fun, but they did everything in their power to make it enjoyable. From the receptionist, to the nurses, the anesthesiologist, the doctor--everyone, was accommodating and pleasant. Very clean, well-run facility. I got in on time, was seen on time, and was out in 30 minutes. Just fantastic.

Terrible. They had been requiring unnecessary anesthesia to pad their bills. This had been going on for years until the insurances caught on and stopped it. That not only caused excess billing, but also made it much worse for the patient. Not only the negatives of excess anesthesia, but, they used that as an excuse to insist on patients having someone give them a ride. They also insisted it not be a taxi or Uber. Who then is left? A company called Care Rides that they were affiliated with, and charged enormous amounts of money. One time a patient couldn't afford Care Rides so he had to drive himself home, which he did with no problem. Then Wilton Surgery Center sent the police to his house, claiming that he was driving under the influence of drugs. Now the insurance companies have caught on to the unnecessary anesthesia, and stopped it. Thus, Care Rides no longer operates. In addition to this aforementioned horror, service is rude and all around terrible. The phone is often not answered. Messages are often not answered. Appointments are cancelled same day. The staff is often rude and insolent. Hours are limited. Forget about anything like going after work. Count on missing a day's work if you go here.

Wilton Surgery Center is local and magnificent. Clean, efficient, friendly, competent, and masterful. There was a minor hiccup in my scheduling, and they remedied it right away in enough time to have my procedure proceed without any delay. What a g-dsend. They are truly angels. Extra credit for warm blankets and offering of snacks/treats afterwards. Such great attention to detail. Super Nice People.

My dad had eye surgery here a while ago. I didn't want to leave a review right away because it is mostly good but some bad the good is the facility is clean and for the most part the staff is great especially my doctor. The office administration is not that good. I spoke twice to a Gloria who said she was the office administrator or assistant. She acts very nice, but it is a facade she lied to me twice and she also ended up being very rude when I nicely called her out on her lies. Wilton Surgery Center needs to fire her she is undermining the Center without them having a clue. Very sneaky, underhanded individual who acts like a mouse.
