My colonoscopy procedures have been done at this Surgery Center of Aventura for years with Dr. Cohen. The nursing staff as well administration has always been top notch, this most recent time even more so. From registration to my particular prep nurse Margo who went above and beyond, my comfortability level was outstanding.The entire nursing staff is very caring. I drive from Boca Raton for this doctor and this facility. Thank you for such amazing standards!!!!

Overall our experience was positive. The front office was friendly and attentive. The pre-op and post-op staff was consistent with the exception of one staff member on the day of surgery upon discharge. The nurse was argumentative with my family member and very dismissive. I appreciated the other staff for redirecting her and providing the necessary post-op materials in an appropriate bag rather than a biomedical bag.

Called to get more information on my surgery date and copay, and had the pleasure of speaking with a younglady name Gina. WOW customer service at its best is an understatement. Gave me all the info I needed. Her computer was acting up said she would call me back shortly & sure enough she did. Put my mind at ease with her kind words of confidence that everything was going to come out find with my procedure. This is the kind of leadership & staff that makes all the difference in any business. I had a distal radius surgery at Surgery Center Aventura last week, and the experience was wonderful. Very little wait time for check in (maybe 30 minutes), and the facility was very clean, calming with welcoming and kind staff who carefully explained everything they were doing and why. So much better than a hospital.

The place is the worst! My husband's insurance pre-authorized for a procedure. We made the co pay of 100 dollars. I called the insurance company and they confirmed everything was covered and just a preauth was needed and a 100 dollars copay. I had a receipt showing proof of co pay and the doctor's office submitted the preauth to them. My husband's doctor office advise to show them the receipt and they still say the co pay was not paid. I took the day off from work and the front desk Iris insisted that the approved pre authorized she received for both code will be good enough and she needed us to pay 1300 dollars prior to surgery. We went to office at 5:45 and waited to 6:47 for her to say we could not be admitted for the surgery. So we left the office and now have to get a refund from the doctor's office. The worst place when it comes to billing and working with Iris. Terrrrrrible. If your doctor use this outpatient center. Run! Not walk....run. They want to to double charge you, have you pay the full operation plus submit to your insurance. Trust me, I've never written any negative review. The worst place. Refuse to do operation if it is that place. Change doctor's even that go somewhere else.
