I had knee surgery yesterday and my experience with this surgery center was amazing. I am a nurse manager myself and have nothing but great things to say! The pre-op nurse who called us Donna was so kind and made sure I knew everything to expect the next day. At check in we were helped quickly and within a few minutes I was taken back to pre-op with nurses Lori and Jen both efficient, kind, and caring, They made sure I was warm and comfy and quickly got my spouse back once I was settled in. My surgeon was running late which I figured would happen and Lori and Jen both checked in regularly and updated us. Dr Khan was my anesthesiologist and amazing!!! His voice is so calming! Post op nurse Michelle was wonderful!! I always have issues with anesthesia and she was great in getting extra meds for me. When I took longer to come out of recovery she called my spouse to let her know I was ok and just needed some more time. Phoebe I believe was the name of our discharge/post op nurse and she made sure both my partner and I were comfortable being discharged and understood the instructions. I can't express how well the day went and how happy both myself and spouse were with our experience.

ALL staff who helped me on the day of my surgery were extraordinary. I am giving this place two stars because I didn't know until 4 pm the day before my surgery what time it was scheduled for. Completely unprofessional. Caused me so much stress because I couldn't book transportation ahead of time. They called me three times to let me know how much it was going to cost me, but left me in the dark about surgery time until less than 24 hours before surgery. In a third world country, I would've had a more efficient scheduling experience. Do not recommend.

Had a tonsillectomy with Dr. Folsom and felt very well taken care of by all of the staff here. Every nurse and doctor was excellent, very attentive when discussing my procedure and checking in on me afterwards :). Staff was personable and provided very thorough post-op instructions. Thank you to Dr. Folsom and to everyone who works here for making me feel comfortable and stress-free for surgery! 10/10 :).

I wish I had done a better job of remembering everyone’s names who made the experience here so great but everyone was truly fantastic. First surgical experience ever yesterday and from start to finish, things couldn’t have exceeded expectations more. I’m a firm believer that reception can really set the tone for any experience and I believe the receptionist’s name was Jana and she was SUCH a delight at 5:30am. I was quickly called back to pre-op where my nurse Sheila was just so compassionate and gentle- and there was never a shortage of heated blankets. My anesthesiologist was Dr. Astrove who was kind and funny and helped put my mind ever so mildly at ease. If I could remember anyone by name after that, I would so happily sing their praises but truly couldn’t have had a better or more comfortable experience here.

Wonderful Staff, surpassed my expectations. This facility runs like a well oiled machine. The Staff were thorough with pre op prep, I felt safe, cared for, and knew I was in excellent hands. My Surgeon is A++, and I understand why he choses the Boca Raton Outpatient Surgery & Laser center to carry out his procedures. The exterior grounds of the premises could do with a refresh, and some maintenance.
