I had a great experience at Park Creek Surgery. The staff is truly excellent—professional, kind, and very attentive from start to finish. Everyone made me feel comfortable and well cared for, patiently answering questions and explaining everything clearly. You can tell they genuinely care about their patients. I highly recommend Park Creek Surgery for their outstanding service and great team.
I had Hernia surgery on 10/22/25. On a scale of 1 to 10 they are a 20. From the nurses to the assistants to Dr. Margolis to the anesthesiologist & the assistant anesthesiologist & to Cheryl who called the next day to see how I was doing. I want to thank everyone for being so nice. Surgery is very stressful but they made me as comfortable as y.
My attending Nurse, Rondo gave me the best care, as well as front desk person...anesthesiologists Leslie did a great job & both Debra & Debbie were also amazing nurses. Of course, Dr. James Radke was very professional & performed my procedure properly. Everyone used special care & took the time to answer all of patients' questions, and made sure I knew what to expect and to do a follow up with Dr. Radke. I would definitely recommend Park Creek Surgery Ctr as top place to go for excellent surgery services.
If you decide to come to this place I would highly recommend to call your insurance company first to confirm if you have a copay and how much. I made that mistake. I was told that my copay would be $175 which I paid. And then a few days later I actually called my insurance company after the fact and they told me that There should not have been a co pay. I was to pay 0. I wrote a nice letter to Park creek surgical center. 2 weeks later no reply. I had my insurance company call them several times. The first time they were rude. The second time they ask for an EOB. And the third time when my insurance company called them twice it just went straight to voicemail and they never called them back. In the meantime I wrote another letter enclosed a copy of my EOB. Asking for a refund no reply. It's been over 2 months still no credit or refund so I was forced I had no choice but to follow a dispute with my credit card company. Which I am waiting on that now. So please check ahead of time verify with your insurance company what your co pay will be have them on the phone actually when you show up in person. Otherwise you will be stuck fighting for a months over the bill. But let me comment also on my other observations. This was my first time at this facility. I have several experiences with coral ridge surgical center in Fort Lauderdale and Baptist health surgical center in Boca Raton. Both of those places if you Call they will actually pick up the phone and answer your question very professional. I called park creek to ask a simple question before my procedure and after 3 rings they hang up. And I tried several times throughout the day and it was the same thing. So the day of my procedure the lady of course took my money. But the first thing I noticed that there was really no one in the waiting area. One other person. I found that to be very odd because at the other surgical centers you usually have a room full of patients and/or families waiting. So when there was only one other person I thought that was kind of weird. The nurses seemed professional and friendly. The anesthesiologist checked-in with me. There was a bit of confusion because another one came shortly after not knowing that the first 1 was already with me. When I went in to the operating room they didn't have the correct tubing. Which I didn't think much of it because sometimes maybe they run out of a supply and they had to go get something else from another room . But my thought was they didn't seem quite organized. But it couldve been a simple mistake. But I would think in a surgical center When you are putting someone to sleep you should have everything organized and ready. Procedure was fine. normally in an outpatient surgical center they call you the next day to see how you were doing. They called me 2 weeks after. So it's been over 2 months and I'm still waiting for my refund.
Nurses were extremely nice and anesthesiologist was very thorough before and after my procedure. Second time I have been to this facility and they were both great experiences. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. Took me back right away for IV when I was feeling lightheaded due to not eating for 12 hours before my procedure.
