They charged me on the day for surgery $1,000 but when they filed the insurance claim , they didn’t mentioned that I already paid this amount which is my deductible and caused a lot of confusion with my insurance. I talked to Billing department and they said the would refund me by check but didn’t apologize for their mistake . This is kind of weird , normally when the hospital or any outpatient facility charged you, it should show up in insurance claim that the patient paid this amount as the deductible and the rest is requesting the insurance to pay. Why this company made the patient paid and told the insurance I didn’t pay and if I didn’t call them , I am wandering if I will get refund. Any one had experience something like this or the billing department made a mistake but not accepting it. Anyway this billing department said they would send me the check to refund. I hope they will as they said. If not I am willing to go to the court to get my money back. I have the receipt and the insurance claim showed that this company file the claim to get full payment and said patient paid $0 which is not true. Check your medical bill carefully if you used this facility for your surgery. I might need to do other knee surgery but I need to think if want to use this out patient facility . The doctor ( Doctor Daniel Chan and the team )and nurses there are great and very helpful but not sure about the billing or operation process from this facility.

This facility is wonderful. The place is spacious and has state of the art equipment. I didn't wait more than 5 minutes to be checked in and taken back to be prepped for my procedure. The first nurse that worked with me, Carly, was professional, friendly and made me feel at ease. Eveey staff member including other nurses, the anesthesiologist, and my doctor. Dr. Wachsman, all treated me exceptionally. If you need a place to have a procedure, I highly recommend Cypress Creek Outpatient Surgical Center!
