It took 8 months to get in. The medical assistant was sweet. Dr. John Lee took 40 mins to get to me and wasn’t very thorough. Dull and a little creepy. I didn’t even feel comfortable asking a question that I had. Lee Health providers are usually great. “Checking out” was completely pointless. Took forever just for the girl to acknowledge me just to hand me the papers back. A total scam

I apologize if this is lengthy, I have been going to Dr John Lee since I arrived in Fort Myers Florida, when I first started using him as my urologist it was great small talk some laughter great guy ! Very efficient to my needs, but since that 5 years ago when he couldn’t feed his family I could have made an appointment every day! Since then he’s grown faster than the Dow jones , more patients, less time with existing patients, booked 6 months out!!!!! Still taking new patients? I could be dead waiting for an appointment with him in 6 months ! I called Friday August 29, 2025 for a refill of medication I’ve been on, because I was flying to Michigan and left the medication in my refrigerator I believe 3 refills on it and haven’t refilled since January 2025 so certainly up !! So I called his office on Friday the 29th to ask them to send the script to a compound pharmacy here in Michigan , crickets nothing my window is short leaving for lake Houghton Thursday , as I explained to the answering service who tried to call his nurses station! God forbid they pick up the phone! NEVER ! Tuesday , Monday being the holiday called several times (3) high priority and escalating was sent to his office! Crickets NOTHING! Today the 3rd of September 4 phone calls plus the pharmacy here in Michigan called him !!!!!! Not so much ad a courtesy phone call NOTHING!!!! This staff and office is highly unprofessional, with a lack of compassion that no one is this field should have! Become a teacher or a cop ! Not a doctor! This practice has become an assembly line and meal ticket ! I used to think highly of this man , his staff especially the nurses should all be fired , when you can’t call your doctor and speak to someone who works alongside him in his office let alone the almighty himself ! There’s something terribly wrong here ! I do apologize for this, I have never written a bad review on anyone, good ones yes ! I would just as soon not say anything ! But this I could not let go! Maybe he doesn’t even know what is going on in his own office, but if he doesn’t that’s even worse !

I had kidney stone surgery at Lee Memorial hospital by Dr. Keating and could not asked for a more patient and kind physician. He did not rush me through any questions, I wish all doctors could be like him. The main nurse that took care of me named Karen was also wonderful. I really wish I could remember more names as everyone that took care of me were just great.

I have complete faith in Dr.Rizzo. He is very caring and easy to talk with. I know I'm in good hands and his staff is wonderful! All of them. I'm thankful I found him.

Arrived early as I was anxious about my upcoming biopsy. I have been treated with such compassion by every staff member of this team. They took me back early, prepared and explained everything perfectly, made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Maier was absolutely amazing, his staff was the epitome of outstanding health care. In my 61 years I don't think I've ever recieved better care than what I received yesterday. I'll never forget how well you treated me. From the bottom of my heart I thank this outstanding surgical center, best care ever.
