Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.
Epidural Steroid InjectionsSteroid medication is injected near irritated spinal nerve roots to calm inflammation causing sciatica or arm pain. Often used to make physical therapy tolerable rather than as a standalone cure. There are limits on how frequently they can be repeated.Nerve Block InjectionsAnesthetic, sometimes with steroid, is injected around a specific nerve to interrupt pain signals. Used both to treat pain and to identify its source, since relief from a precisely placed block points to the nerve responsible.Radiofrequency AblationHeat generated by radio waves disables the small nerves carrying pain signals from an arthritic spinal joint. Relief commonly lasts six months to two years. Because the nerves regenerate over time, the procedure can be repeated.Spinal Cord StimulationA device delivers mild electrical pulses to the spinal cord to interrupt chronic pain signals before they reach the brain. A temporary trial period is done first, so you can judge the benefit before committing to a permanent implant.Joint InjectionsSteroid or lubricating medication is injected directly into an arthritic or inflamed joint. Image guidance is often used to confirm placement. Relief typically lasts weeks to months and can make physical therapy more productive.Trigger Point InjectionsA local anesthetic is injected into a taut, tender knot of muscle to break the spasm-and-pain cycle. The appointment takes minutes and you can usually return to normal activity the same day.

Scheduled for first up. Asked to arrive by 7:15. In voicemail. I-75 traffic so arrived at 6am to be safe. “We go in order”… it’s nearly 8 am, others went in ahead. Friendly reception, not her fault. Nice facility. Get your scheduling act together. I should send a bill for my time.

I had the most incredible experience here. When you walk in the building is so beautiful and spotless. The waiting area for a patient’s family is very spacious clean and there’s a nice TV and a snack center with complementary coffee, beverages, and snacks which I think is an incredibly nice touch, there is also free Wi-Fi. I believe Megan was the first nurse I encountered and she was so compassionate and sweet and made me feel right at home. She knew I was very nervous to have my right hip done. She was extremely informative on the process and was with me every step of the way then came the incredible Scott. I don’t know the nurses last names but they left such a lasting impression. Scott’s voice was so soothing. He calmed me down as I got more nervous as we got close to the surgery. He was very informative as well. Super patient with me and he was the nurse that I Woke up to Recovery. I had Dr Humbert who is an absolutely incredible doctor and my anesthesiologist. Were absolutely amazing. All of a sudden, I open my eyes and it was all over. And I was recovering peacefully. My recovery room was private very comfortable. There was a nice TV in there. I did not feel like watching TV but I know I could’ve if I asked them they gave me some nice Water after my surgery and the PT person I believe her name was Nikki but I’m not sure was Amazing as well Scott Worked Together to help me use my walker and get to the bathroom and believe me they were very patient with me. It took me Quite a while, but they never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. They made me feel great. I highly recommend the surgery center because of the People that work here were others that helped me as well, but I do not remember their names. I just want them all to know how special they all are and how much I appreciate them for sure. This is a 5 Star Pl. that gives five star service all the way I wish I could give them 10 stars

Made sure we were totally comfortable before we left. The 2 nurses that got me started were GREAT also! I hope i dont need it again but i know where my first choice will be. Thank you so much.

Taken my soulmate to have her knee replacement surgery. The doctor, E. Humbert and the staff are very professional and courteous. I recieved a phone call from Dr. Humbert and he informed me that she was finished and everything went well. She'll be in the recovery room for about an hour or so and then she will be ready to go home. Thanks for keeping me in touch, this means a lot to me. I'll let everyone know the outcome after a few weeks or more about the knee. The office is very comfortable to stay and wait, I had a few errands to do during the wait time.
