Had to delete my review and put another as this seems the only way to contact this company. Called this morning to get help because I lost a prescription. Person was awful and still haven't heard back. I am at the point of filing a complaint with the medical board

Whoever answers the phone for this location sucks at their job, continuously rude, can barely understand him and he doesn’t work with anyone’s schedule. If I wanted to go there I’d have to wait 3 months to see the dr now I have to drive to fernindina to see him sooner. Other than the nasty person who answers their phones, the doctors and assistants are great, never had any issues and they’re always super friendly. If it wasn’t for the person on the phone, they’d have higher stars cause the staff is great and worked with me for everything

Love Florida Eye Specialists! I’ve been under Dr Freidl’s (ophthalmology) care for about 5 years. I’ve also seen other specialists in this group as needed. Very satisfied with treatment and the professionalism of this group. If you have more than one issue, it’s convenient and easy to be referred to another specialist within the group.

Very easy visit! They called me back about 5 minutes after I arrived. Caitlin, the tech that examined my eyes first, was very friendly and very knowledgeable. Dr Cowart is always great! The office is always spotlessly clean, and everyone that works there is smiling friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend you use the Gateway office of Florida Eye Specialist for any of your needs for eyes.

1st visit was excellent. The employees are very friendly and easy to talk to. The appointment was as scheduled, and the whole appointment was a bit over an hour. The waiting room was clean and had a large aquarium.
