1230 appointment, not called back until 2pm. Don't waste your time arriving on-time for your appointment.

Absolutely horrible!!!! The staffing from the receptionist to the medical staff are some of the most ill manored people you will ever meet!!!! Extremely disorganized and inconsiderate Definitely would drive to another county before I would bring anyone or myself to this car wreck!!!

My experience with this clinic is probably unique, so I will share it from that perspective, and hopefully it might help others that may be in the same shoes. My vision had gotten so poor that I felt compelled to inquire about cataract surgery with Riverside Park Surgicenter. I have had a dental phobia for my entire life, and have always had to get nitrous oxide for even a simple cleaning. I had learned a few years ago that my dental phobia also has a "twin" that brings me that same type of fear of "intimate eye care," and so I consulted my GP, who prescribed a generic pill used to treat "anxiety," just for use on the actual day of surgery. Although I was still quite concerned about how everything would play out on the day of my surgery, I have to credit Dr. Cronin and his entire staff, from the receptionist, to the nurses, the anesthesiologist, and all of the other very professional colleagues in this office on College Street downtown Jax: everything went so well I still almost cannot believe it! They even asked me if I would like to have some music just before we started, and I selected one of my favorites, and they queued it right up! The entire process went so smoothly that I have now scheduled my other eye surgery, and am looking forward to being able to see clearly without my glasses for the first time in my life! Many, many thanks to Dr. Cronin and his phenomenal team members for making such a wonderful impact on my life! I wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needs eye care!

My father needed surgery for his eye. The pre-op paperwork told him to arrive at 6:00am when they open at 6:30 and the surgery was scheduled for 7:30. A lady who arrived shortly after said she had a similar issue and said she was told to arrive at 6:15. They do not have a printer, apparently; and made him re fill out paperwork even when he had it saved on his phone. I understand if there is a security concern, but if it was that important to have the physical paper, that should’ve been made more clear in the instructions. In my father’s words, “if they can’t get their paperwork straight, how can we expect them to do surgery straight?” I write this as we are sitting in the waiting room. I don’t know if he’s going to go through with it or if we’re just going to leave. EDIT: They do not have a visible email or way to contact management besides a phone number and fax number. Bad sign.

My wife needed retina reattachment surgery immediately and we had met $0 of our $1500 deductible. I had to pay in full before they would schedule surgery. Now 5 weeks down the road they are just now filing with Blue Cross! The other Doctors and assorted other services have all filed before them. I am now getting $1100 bills because my deductible has not been met!! They say they will refund me in 2 months after Blue Cross returns them the money. Surgery went well, but paying under duress then getting screwed on the back end. Schedule somewhere else if you have the opportunity, sadly we didn't have any say so.
