I had a colonoscopy here today, October 23, 2024 and I would recommend this place to anyone that has to have a colonoscopy. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. I have a HUGE fear of IVs and Veronica gave me the smallest needle possible, and I didn't feel a thing. The anesthesiologist explained everything and was very understanding to my needs. A nurse prayed for me, per my request as I was extremely nervous. I have to have another colonoscopy in two years and will definitely be back. Can't say enough good things about this place!
I had a colonoscopy done on May 16th 2019 and it went very well. The staff told me everything that I was going to have done and when I was taken back to surgery, the nurse talked to me the whole time until I went to sleep and then I woke up in the room. Great staff and nurses. My husband is going to this facility on May 6th to have a colonoscopy done for the first time and I may have to go back for a second one soon. Highly recommended.
My appointment was 9:10. I arrived a little early and after completing a little paperwork, I was taken right in. The nurses escorted me to the prep room where I had to change into a hospital gown. They had me lay on a surgery room bed and took my vitals. Once that was complete, they placed a warmed blanket over me that was nice and toasty. The nurses were very nice and checked on my comfort several times. They explained what was going to take place which was also comforting. The anesthesiologist also talked with me and explained the actions he would take. Dr Rosado also checked on me and wanted to ensure I was comfortable. I was wheeled into the surgery center and I talked with the staff a little bit. The next thing I remember was waking up the the post operating room. The staff at North Florida Surgery Center were all very courteous, professional, organized and helpful. I don't believe they could have done anything different to make me more comfortable nor to make my surgery any less painless than it was. In fact, I had no pain or discomfort at all...I slept through it. Thank you to everyone at NFSC for such a pleasant experience.
Son is scheduled for a 12:45 pm colonoscopy. So he hasn't eaten in over 38 hours because it's now after 2pm and they haven't called him back yet. The lady at the desk is constantly burping when she isn't outside smoking. I told her my son is autistic and yet she continued to go through the financial responsibilities with my son. After being here for 1 hour they called 2 other people that were here for who knows how long. Not impressed. Would not recommend this surgery center.
These are the most unprofessional folks I have dealt with. I have made 2 appointments, non of which have been close to the time. That is not so bad but when you made an appointment for surgery and someone has to be with you and no one from Dr. Mohammad Faisal's office lets you the time or the place until 12 hours before...B.S. If you have a choice and most of the time you do. Find another Doctor!!!
