This review is not about my actual procedure but is about billing and office. I was charged a deductible that was said to have been correct but was overcharged by $600. Mind you I had my surgery in April 2025. There was a change in management and with the recent staff I have been talking to since October 2025 and 4 months later I still have not seen the refunded check that is supposed to have been sent to me. I have been told corporate is what handles this refund and keep getting told the check is coming. This is is my first step to show how displeasing this process has been. I will also be letting my Doctors office know.

I had a very negative experience with Dr. Maria Lima, MD, who served as my anesthesiologist. She was extremely rude and unprofessional in her conduct toward me. Based on my experience, I do not believe she should be practicing medicine, and I would strongly advise other patients to avoid seeking care from her. I plan to report both Dr. Lima and Bariendo to the appropriate health authorities for review.

I recently went to SurgiCare of Miramar. From registration to discharge, the care was outstanding. I thank my wonderful doctor, who took the time to answer my endless questions, along with the entire team of nurses and anesthesiologists for taking excellent care of me. Excellent colonoscopy this past week. It was a routine 10 year colonoscopy. Everyone was outstanding from the person booking the appointment that got me the #1 appointment of the day, to Noelia at registration the was prompt, polite and professional. My Pre Op nurses Vanesa & Juliana were a great team of professionals with all the pre-op procedures & intake to making me feel got with warm heated blankets. My doctor & the procedural team where excellent. Lynn was an excellent recovery nurse. This is the surgical center from heaven. The place is immaculate and the staff are angels. Highly recommend this medical group.

This place deserves more than 5 stars. All the staff both pre and post op were absolutely caring, loving, compassionate, and truly genuine. You can feel the love. I have to do another procedure and now I know the team is amazing, I feel more at ease for my next one. To the team that took care of me, I truly appreciate the love and care you gave me. I would recommend you guys time and again. I am truly grateful 🙏 💛 thank you!
