The front desk and initial nursing staff provided excellent service. However, subsequent interactions left me feeling as though I was in a chaotic environment, with patients being processed impersonally. I did not have the opportunity to meet the surgeon Dr. Bottaro who performed my eye procedure, nor was I provided with post-operative instructions or expectations. While the individual who escorted me to my vehicle was very kind, the overall experience at the surgery center was not satisfactory.

Kara is awesome!!! If only she could have done it all I would have stayed. Stacie to check in and Kara as the only nurse assisting Dr Montzke in surgery. She was so nice and attentive I almost went ahead with the surgery on my detached retina even though everyone else was absolutely horrible. Stacie was very nice at the front desk and Dr Montzka will impress you from the first time you meet him on. So again, Stacie is nice at the desk, Kara is a rock star, as a nurse, and Dr Montzka is a Dr you would hope to have, but unfortunately you can't just deal with the 3 ppl I have mentioned. I walked out after making the decision that I would rather risk losing my vision in my eye than let anyone else in that place anywhere near me. I've had many extremely serious health issues, so i have also been in several hospitals in both Ohio as well as Florida; this place I'd rank as one of the worst hospitals/surgery centers I've ever been in. I'd compare this place to University of Toledo Medical Center amd Never Going Home (Naples General Hospital ). I'll edit this later to provide details. This was a complete waste of time fasting and then leaving home at 530am to drive just under an hr for a 630am check in to have the surgery at 730.

I am terrified of Dentist. From the moment I walked in this office I was treated like I was the only patient there. Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE was so kind, understanding, and informative. Their bedside manner was so good that I can't believe I've been accepting such sub standered care from everywhere else. You guys set the bar. Thank you all so much for taking such excellent care of me. Also the fact that Dr. Aves picked up on the first ring after hours when I had a question was not only extremely impressive but greatly appreciated.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile. This place is totally professional. Dr. Rowan is an incredible eye doctor but also a highly gifted plastic surgeon. New Port Richey is lucky to have a doctor who can rival any of "the best" lists from NYC and LA. I also really liked the nurses in both pre-op and in the operating room. They were very warm. Speaking of warm, they offered me a warm blanket when I was waiting to go into the OR. It was so comforting and lovely. Highly recommend this establishment and I highly recommend Dr. Carey Rowan for surgery. He's stellar. A perfectionist but also an artist. Exactly what is needed for a great result.
