Procedures Performed

Common outpatient procedures performed at this ambulatory surgery center, based on reported specialties.

Knee ArthroscopyA camera and small instruments are inserted through incisions the size of a buttonhole to repair cartilage, trim a torn meniscus, or remove loose fragments. Because the joint is not opened fully, recovery is far faster than traditional open knee surgery.Shoulder ArthroscopyUses a small camera and instruments through tiny incisions to repair the shoulder joint — commonly for impingement, labral tears, or damaged cartilage. Most patients go home the same day and begin physical therapy within the first week.ACL ReconstructionRebuilds the torn anterior cruciate ligament using a graft, since a fully torn ACL does not heal on its own. The surgery itself is outpatient, but returning to cutting and pivoting sports typically takes nine to twelve months of structured rehabilitation.Rotator Cuff RepairReattaches torn tendons in the shoulder to the bone. Pain relief often comes well before strength does — a sling is typical for several weeks and full recovery commonly takes four to six months, with physical therapy doing much of the work.Carpal Tunnel ReleaseCuts the ligament pressing on the median nerve at the wrist to relieve numbness, tingling, and night pain in the hand. The procedure takes about 15 minutes under local anesthesia. Night symptoms often improve immediately; grip strength returns over several weeks.Joint ReplacementDamaged joint surfaces are replaced with implants, most commonly at the knee or hip. Once exclusively a hospital procedure, selected healthy patients now have this done at surgery centers and go home the same day with a structured recovery plan.

i wouldn’t recommend going here. i had the worst experience with dr. Goldstein . didnt care about how i was feeling or the pain that im in. tried to dismiss my issues like there is nothing wrong with me. i seen him twice and both times got into a heated argument left crying with no answers to whats wrong. im forced to go here due to a work injury . but if u can choose where u can go dont go here. i would give them a zero if i could.

Going there over 10 years, brought my wife there doctor ok but scheduling staff (you have to call) is a minus 10! No personality no care and most of the time don't listen! This is the 3rd go around with them there's not gonna be a 3rd. It takes forever to get appointment so we call, we changed to a ppo plan in hopes it would speed things up. So we called today to make appointment for asap(wife hurting) can't get appointment till end of Feb. She says can't make appointment till we get a referral, when I replied we have new ppo ins so make the appt. No can't do that need approval, well make the appt and you can get it. Very direct not caring! So it's time to fine another place, you might think your #1 and have many patients but you now have 2 less! AWFUL MAYBE YOUR DRS DONT CARE EITHER!

Don't expect them to have their phones plugged in at 8 am when they open at 8 am, they won't be answering your calls. Don't expect to EVER been seen less than an hour AFTER your appointment time, even though you can be charged for being late. They do not respect their patients experience or time. The place is filthy, the chairs are stained, the front desk and staff assistants are often too busy on their cell phones to help you. The med tech for a foot doctor walks away from patients so fast, he's regularly told to slow down - foot patients literally can't walk, this is so disrespectful. The quality of the physicians is quite literally the only thing keeping the doors open.

This place is awful if I could give it 0 stars I would the surgeon’s are not the problem it’s the rest of the staff that is. If your Coming here because of chronic pain and don’t have time to wait then don’t !!!! David Downey is the worst he’s rude he makes you feel like you inconvenienced him going there. I had several test’s done and I never got my results despite calling there several times over the course of month’s my pain was so bad that I was depressed. The fact they have no customer service just answering machines, and they have the nerve to tell you not to call multiple times as it slows them down helping other people! But if they would just help you correctly the first time then nobody would have to keep calling over and over…

I had surgery with Dr. Locker about two years ago, and the experience has been extremely frustrating. We had originally discussed removing part of my meniscus to get me back to full activity as a mid-30s male. Instead, during surgery he made the decision to repair it - something I did not agree to. He told me it would last 10 years, but less than two years later I already need another surgery. I did my part with physical therapy and aftercare, but the recovery ended up being twice as long, much more expensive, and nowhere near the result I was supposed to have. My knee has never gotten back to where it needs to be. His bedside manner was cold and dismissive, and his communication about what actually happened was poor. To make things worse, just two days after surgery I went in for PT and the therapist started twisting on my knee. When I told her I had just had surgery, she was shocked - she hadn’t even been told. That lack of coordination and care is unacceptable. This office is short, cold, and not focused on the patient. If you want your knees working to their full potential, I strongly recommend finding another doctor. I will be using a new provider for my next surgery.
