First the facility was very clean, the staff was kind and professional. My gripe is the need to take an X-ray (I had an X-ray and an MRI-both less than a week old) and an EKG for a consult. I told them to call my insurance and they said they did and it was approved. Few weeks later they send me an invoice for over $700 because my insurance refused. Sadly I’ve had to interact with surgeons a lot, I just wanted their opinion. I called them on it and they refused to negotiate. Beware. No reason for an EKG for a consult - felt crooked.

The team took great care of me yesterday as I embarked on the journey of getting my back repaired back in June of this year. From preop to post, I was taken care of with kindness and professionalism. I had a laminectomy, L5, S1 fusion with bone graft. Dr. Claybrooks and his team guided me through the entire process from pre surgery visits and yesterday, surgery day. At all points in this process, each team member was efficient and kind. Now into recovery and stronger than ever. I am indebted to you all.

I have been working for weeks to get my surgery approved. I have had to do the all the leg work between insurance and biospine!! Communication was so poor, takes forever to receive any callback and I had to pay out of pocket to make an in person appointment to talk to someone! I still have no answer and I am so frustrated! I have to get this done before the new year because my deductible will be even higher! I am utterly disappointed in the lack of care and compassion for my care. I went to them because of there reputation but I don’t believe it now! I am a nurse and I feel bad of those patients who don’t know enough If they are getting the care they deserve. I now suffer every day in pain!

I had surgery just a couple days ago and I woke up this morning pain-free. Dr. Claybrooks, You saved my life, sir. I have been in horrible chronic pain for nearly a year. My thoughts were really in dark times, You and your team have given me a new outlook on life. I just can’t thank you enough God bless you all!!

My wife received her consultation with Dr. Claybrook. I don't know if his dog had just died that day or his wife had decided to divorce him but he seemed enormously depressed. Almost like he didn't even want to be there. Really seemed like a waste of time without an MRI. If they're supposed to be a big deal spine center why don't they have their own MRI ? Basically drove over ninety miles round trip for nothing. Not planning on going back.
