REVIEW ON THE PSYCH WARD HERE: I was terrified. I think her name is Taylor, she was THE BEST. When she walked in with pink glasses I went “oh I can trust her” and we have similar tattoos. She cared about me. If she wasn’t there idk where I would be. Thank you, sweet angel. 🫶🏻 Please give her a raise. She is the reason I’m giving 5 stars. And the nurse with the curly hair in green. She was my favorite nurse. Everyone did wonderfully. Let them wear colored scrubs. Black and white is awful. Teaching myself love and kindness.
Had a mammogram there. Everyone was nice. The wait was a little long and while waiting there was a tv show i think a soap- opera type show talking about rape and the details of it. I don't think that show, even though fake, was appropriate while awaiting to get seen. That's why it's 4 stars. But the experience with the lady who took my pictures was extremely nice and explained everything. She made me feel really comfortable in a awkward situation, as mammograms can be!
This hospital has taken such good care of me this past year. I'm currently admitted and Nurse Christine from the 3rd floor should get a raise. She is incredibly sweet and very compassionate. She has gone above and beyond for me and never shows frustration. She is willing to do anything for all her patients. All the nurses here are great, but she made my situation so much more comfortable. She is a true gem.
Inpatient experience was great. Son was admitted on the 3rd floor (GI). He was under the care of a large team to narrow down the cause of his condition. All staff from patient care tech to physicians were wonderful. They didn't give up on my son until they felt certain which was comforting. His nurses were all super sweet and helpful. Especially Savannah, Grace and the young man who was charge nurse the first 2 nights. I tried to remember everyone's names but too many to remember! All were great.
I had surgery on Dec 9 for kidney removal. From the time I got to the hospital starting with Tracy in registration. Then onto to pre-op group (which had a ton of people) all very professional and empathic. Could not have asked for a better group of people. The first day of post-op, no memory (thank goodness). Second day, up and walking and talking. There was a wonderful group of nurses/women that took amazing care of me ( I am not the easiest of patients).Again, could not have had a better group of caretakers. I almost missed them when I left! The third day, I was very anxious to leave. I waited hours for discharge and when it happened, nurse Velvet rolled me out and I gave her a huge hug. I asked her to thank here entire staff/unit for the outstanding care that was offered. From start to finish, not one complaint. Great staff. Sincerely, Mark Brewer
