My first time here came in at 815 and out the door at 945. I was put to sleep and got 4 injections in my back and everyone from the front desk to the nurses and doctors everything went perfect. Dr Adams is absolutely the best

Not caring. Extremely inefficient. Tried doing multiple, unnecessary pregnancy tests on me. No one was on the same page. Was being treated for a bilateral condition, signed bilateral treatment paperwork, yet I get back and every is saying Right Side only and refusing to produce the paperwork I signed at the front for bilateral. Just before procedure, from switching from one bed to the surgical bed, I burped and was asked if I was okay, I said yes and this is normal for me. Raul - with anesthesia - said he did not want me throwing up and was going to give me zofran. I declined and explained it was not necessary and would not throw up and how this was normal and tried explaining my medical conditions. He was clearly more concerned about the potential clean up vs actually listening to the patient because he said he would administer "just incase because I don't want you throwing up on my watch." Told him I did not need it and it was administered anyway - against my will. He then told me he was numbing my vein only... misinformed me... as a few seconds later I could feel the effects from the anesthetic. Woke up uncomfortable and angry - the team then shut me in the curtains with a man only - I am female - I turned him away and said Woman. No bandages of any sort were on my body after this procedure. No one was answering my driver/friend's questions. They essentially just shoved me out as they were so busy and so behind. (my appt was 11AM - they called at 8:45AM to see if I could come at 9:30AM - I told them I could arrive at 10:15 due to where I reside in comparison to the surgery center... they saw me at 1pm... I had to wait in my car for almost three hours... which increased my back pain.. because they were not even any open seats in the waiting room... Surgery center called SIX DAYS later to check on me and started with saying "you saw Dr. ___" a doctor I did not see. I expressed my concerns and experience in great detail, as well as confirmed the doctor that actually treated me. I was then told this issue would be address as far as Raul but no one has gotten back with me. Other office's have heard complaints of this surgery center as well.

The staff are courteous and professional. Never have had a negative experience. If they run late in because they have other Mds using the center. If u go in, expect this things to happened, b prepare. Its worth it! Took me yrs to find Dr Adams and it's bn a knowledgeable anesthelogist that offers you options for your pain management.!
