I've had two procedures here, and both times had a very good experience. Very nice staff, and Quick. I like them a lot! Thank you, Pasadena Surgery Center!
I would give them 5 stars if their billing department was better. I was told that my insurance will cover the eye surgery I had but after the surgery I was informed that I would have to pay out of pocket. I suggest that you double check with your insurance before you get anything done. Other than that my surgery went smoothly and the people who worked there were kind. I received 3 bills: one for Pasadena, one for my eye dr and one for the anesthesiologist. Medical bills are a nightmare.
Wonderful! Each staff member was professional, friendly and very competent. They went above and beyond to make me feel at ease for my procedure. Facility was reasonable in size but adequate for services received. Anesthesiologist was through and made sure I was comfortable, kudos to all the staff!! Karen Kovac
I recently took my Father here for cataract surgery/lens implant. Extremely efficient facility. We arrived at 7:30 AM, and the surgery was finished and my Father was discharged by 10:30AM. My Father can finally see again. Really good facility.
I honestly didn’t want to give this facility one star. I wanted no stars but I was unable to do this. I have never experienced a Surgery Center that gave such lack of care. Upon my arrival the the women in the front office where unwelcoming and upset with me because I did not bring my ID with me. I was told that my driver should go back and get it. I was self pay and my insurance wasn’t being billed anyway. Once I was taken in the “pre-op” area I lied there for several hours pretty much nonexistent behind a curtain after answering a few basic questions. I listened to them on their phone calls giving instructions to the patients that will come in for a procedure the next day. They told each patient that they will “take good care of them”. This is far from true in my experience. I have never had such lack of care after a procedure. I was not recovered at all and was pushed out of the facility. Still groggy and not assessed by nursing. I had dressings on which we’re not even looked at lots of fluid on the bed, chair, clothing. This was never assessed and not mentioned to my surgeon. I was taken to my driver’s car and pads were put on her passenger seat. The nurse never asked me how I was after the procedure or how my pain was let alone address the dressing etc. dripping in fluids. I got some ice chips and asked for a Ginger Ale as I was being pushed out the door. I ended up going to the ER that evening and feel that wouldn’t have happened if I received the proper care after my procedure.
