Albany Urology and Dr. Ajin were most impressive with their organization, attentiveness and preparation. The wait was a reasonable period of time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Ajib was thorough, knowlegeable and available for questions. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr Ajib is a doctor you can trust. He is very professional; who listens to your concerns and gives clear concise answers to all your questions about your care. He explains what and how he plans to resolve your issue and care for you in the best manner to bring you back to the best health possible. Highly recommend him to all.

Everyone is pleasant and courteous. The only thing that bothers me is they don’t take much time with you if you are over 75 years old. I prefer to be checked since this is the time in your life when things are subject to appear. I’m a retired banker who banked the three doctors with Albany Urology in the 1970’s until I Transferred to Moultrie in 1983. Got to be friends with Carl Hancock and he was my doctor until he retired and ultimately passed away. Then Dr. Dougherty and now Dr. Ajib. The atmosphere is totally different now with little comfort given to the older folks. I’m 83 and in good health for my age. I play golf one to two times a week and work out at the Y three days a week. I’m blessed to have had my good health and hope to continue at this pace for several more good years. Most of my personal physicians take an interest in keeping me going. They do this by giving me good checkups and addressing any potential problems early.I would like to have a good relationship with Albany Urology going forward. Thank you.

My father had a nephrectomy, and while Dr. Monohan is reassuring, as is Rodney, another surgeon, Stephen Snipes, was very condescending towards my father, telling him he shouldn't be in "that much pain" the DAY AFTER surgery when he did rounds. Moreover, once we got back to our hometown, which is rural and has virtually no emergency care, my father's wound started bleeding profusely through not only his dressing but his shirt as well. I called the surgeon's office per discharge instructions, only to be put through to a "nurse" who never took the call. I waited over 9 minutes before hanging up and calling back. I was forwarded to a "supervisor" who only works in "administration" (per her own words). Be advised that if you have surgery, you will not be given access to any sort of phone number for post-surgical emergencies. Instead, you will watch your loved one bleed while you wait on hold behind people paying bills and scheduling appointments. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. When I spoke with Michelle in the office and inquired as to why I didn't have access to any other number for medical inquiries, she told me that the office staff "should have" put me through to the nurse immediately rather than placing me on hold. Clearly, the office staff does not have adequate training/supervision nor compassion because I had already explained to the receptionist what was going on and the urgent nature of my inquiry. The damage is quite literally done, and I will never forgive this office for their negligence. They left me without a way to communicate with anyone with any sort of medical expertise. Thank God for RN Stephanie from floor 6 at Phoebe Putney. She took my call and walked me through what to do. My father had indeed popped a staple, hence the bleeding. If you have the means to travel, please go seek urological care elsewhere, somewhere that has a responsive office staff and compassionate fellow surgeons who actually care about how their patients are doing once they are off the table.

I have never had such a pleasant experience at a doctor's appointment before. Every single staff member I encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Dr. Ajib was so kind and personable. He answered all of my questions patiently and I didn't leave the appointment with any lingering questions or concerns. The wait time was minimal, only a few minutes, and the appointment went seamlessly. From front desk, nurse, Dr. Ajib, lab technician, EKG technician, financial planner, and surgery scheduler I was highly impressed and would recommend this facility for anyone needing urological care.
