I am so disappointed in this hospital. My father came here for a heart bypass surgery. As they were getting ready to wheel him back we were told by the nurse that the nurse that would give us updates was very good about calling and giving us updates as the surgery started and throughout the surgery process. We went back to waiting room at that time (1:30pm) and did not hear any news over a hour after we left. We went downstairs to look at board and saw that his surgery was already in progress but we had not been made aware. We finally got a phone call around 3:20pm that the surgery was going well. We then got another call at approximately 5:10pm and was told he was finished with robotic portion of surgery and it should be another hour or so and he would be out. She also gave his the ICU room number he would be in once he was out. Around 7pm we started to get a little concerned because we had not heard anything from anyone. I went downstairs and sat in front of board to see if I seen any news. It still stated his surgery was in progress. At around 7:20ishpm, his patient number went off the board completely. He didn’t change over to in recovery room or anything. We expected to get a call from nurse and hear he was out of surgery. We never did receive a call. At around 7:50, we decided to go up to cardiac floor to see if we could find out any news. We told the nurse at the desk our situation and she was shocked to hear that we had not spoken to anyone since 5:10. She advised us to go over to ICU floor to find out more information. We went to ICU and was told to wait in waiting area of ICU because he just got put in ICU room. The nurse said someone would come get us in a few minutes and take us to him. We waited 45 minutes and never did anyone come get us. We went back out to nurses desk and asked again to see him. She asked the nurse if we could come in and she said oh yeah of course. We told the nurse we very upset about lack of communication. She gave us a small update but was told the doctor would come by in the morning. This is TERRIBLE PRACTICE EMORY. We are loved ones who are worried sick and deserve some sort of communication from doctors on our loved ones. I’m very disappointed.

My step dad had a massive stroke and was transferred to Emory Hospital from Cols. Ga.....the ICU Staff was so professional and courteous. Melissa and Harrison his nurses were awesome. They explained everything to us and were there to take care of him when we removed him from life support. They dont have an easy job but I am so grateful for all they did. Thank you to all.

A recent visit that required immediate medical support showed me why this is the #1 Hospital. I was seen at the Adult ER and the team were absolutely fantastic. I am absolutely recommending that you stop by here, if you're unwell, the team does a fantastic job of getting you some support until you get to see a specialist. I also loved the caring text for comfort while you wait. And yes, ER rooms are private.

To the incredible team at Emory Hospital on Clifton Road, From the very bottom of my heart, thank you. To the compassionate staff in the Emergency Room and to the amazing caregivers on the 7th floor, you have given me a gift that words can barely describe. Because of your care, dedication, and kindness, my son is no longer in pain. He is out of his bed again, moving, smiling, and visiting his family. After watching him suffer for so long, seeing him regain his strength and spirit feels nothing short of a miracle. As a mother, there is no greater relief than knowing your child is finally comfortable and able to live again. You didn’t just treat a patient — you restored hope, eased a mother’s heart, and gave me my son back. Thank you for your professionalism, your compassion, and for the humanity you show every single day. What you do matters more than you will ever know, and our family will be forever grateful. With endless gratitude and love, Thank you all so much. Andrea withers and family

I hope this review gets to the right place. We are here at Sharp hospital San Diego and I came to this site to ensure I left a review for an ANGEL of a person/traveling nurse. I believe her name is Rosaline? My grandma was admitted on Thanksgiving and despite the circumstance we were so grateful to have Rosaline as my grandma’s traveling nurse. From the very first interaction, she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. She treated my grandma with genuine compassion and respect, always taking the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make her feel comfortable and cared for. It was evident that Rosaline truly loves what she does. She went above and beyond to make sure my grandma felt safe and supported, and that meant the world to our family. Her calm presence and caring attitude made a difficult time so much easier. We couldn’t have asked for a better nurse, and any hospital or patient would be lucky to have her. Come back soon!
