While I have not yet undergone surgery, Dr. Melanie Battle Kinchen’s 20+ years of experience is immediately evident in the way she communicates. For the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. I won’t name the other practice I visited in Charlotte, NC, but I was not satisfied there, and this office has already made me glad I chose to make the eight‑hour round trip to seek a second opinion. We are now in the scheduling phase for a surgery I never wanted, but based on my research, I believe I’ve chosen the right surgeon. I also spoke with other patients who told me to avoid surgery if possible, but if surgery becomes necessary, this is the place to be. **Needs Improvement** I gave four stars instead of five because the office has repeatedly called my wife’s number—six times so far—even though it was listed as the secondary contact. Each time, I asked for it to be corrected and was assured it would be, which affected my confidence in their administrative process. Additionally, I uploaded my digital imaging to the portal, yet during scheduling I was told they didn’t have it. They later located it while I was still on the call. I was then scheduled with a PA when I needed a surgeon, and during the rescheduling call I was again told, “We don’t have imaging,” until I directed them to the portal. On the day of the consult, I was told once more that the imaging wasn’t available, resulting in a one‑hour delay so they could review it. **Summary** I have high confidence in my surgeon, but I believe the office has room to improve its internal processes.
I used Dr Chappuis and this man is a ROCKSTAR at his job!! Overall I have nothing to complain about with their staff, facilities, bedside manners communication. Every position within his group overtly exceeded my expectations. I hope this reaches everyone! I want to thank everyone for taking care of me before during and after this experience!
Very personable and warm… take time to listen for understanding and not solely to respond. Super nice, best treatment ever! First impression, is a lastly impression—very rewarding experience. Thank you Dr. Ryan
I went in for an MRI Review and NP Fingerman was very informative and detailed in her assessment of my images. She describe everything in terms I could understand and not just a bunch of medical jargon. She gave her professional opinion as to what she believes I need and what my options are surrounding that. I left with a better sense of whats going on with me and I feel empowered to make an informed decision on my health.
There aren’t enough stars for this office—five simply isn’t enough! They are beyond amazing. The entire team is warm, welcoming, and truly exceptional. I felt completely at ease from the moment I walked in. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable, and I genuinely love the care and attention they provide. They are not just stars… they are in a league of their own.
