The doctor and his staff were great. The office staff is HORRIBLE! I have insurance coverage for a routine eye exam every 24 months under my health insurance. I explained this when appointments were made for me and my husband. I tried to explain it again when I went in for the appointments. They said I did not have coverage and that it would be $180 each. I paid thinking I would get it back once the insurance took care of it. They billed it as medical instead of routine eye exam. This is not covered. After speaking with my insurance company they called the office and then the billing department said they were in error. We will rebill and refund the money. This was fine for my services but they performed some type of imaging on my husband that is medical and his can’t be rebilled. So after the doctors office saying it was their fault it still costs me $180 for their error. Never will I use this office again And you use the same response for every review. If you had bothered to actually read my review you would know that I did speak with your staff twice and they still took my $180 even though they admit it is your error

Started going there last year it was fine. This year they canceled my appointment and they don’t have another for 5 months terrible customer service. Update they get me in for another appointment in Jackson. While I am there the doctor says she wants to see me back in Covington so they can check my eyes on another imaging system. When I get to Covington they try and charge me $150.00 more dollars on top of what my insurance and I have already paid. At no point during my visit or the follow up phone calls did anyone say they were going to be charging me for another appointment. I will not be back. Find another doctor they are not worth it.

Covington Vision Center has closed and patients are being foward to this office. While we understand they're merging and making changes, the office wasn't very accommodating making an appointment for an existing patient within a reasonable time frame. We called today October 24 and were offered an appointment Feb 25 2026. We are now in a pinch to find another provider quickly since eye exam prescriptions expire! On top of the inconvenience, the representative who answered was noticeably unpleasant to speak to. Updating my review from ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️ as of 11pm se day review originally posted. I received notification of their reply, called back and we have were offered an appointment a week away! Very satisfied with the quick response and being offered an appointment sooner.

They are gonna get your money they know how to manipulate to charge the most from your insurance an you. Being a young adult a seeing all the elderly patients in our community coming here I can only imagine how they are doing them. Billing at the e.r tells me my employer has the best insurance she’s seen and here I can’t get anything covered with vision a medical but they take both a both covers only $6 imagine that. Guess it’s back to America’s best where I’ve been paying $0 for 9 years
